My favorite place. When ships were smaller we stopped at St. George’s first then Hamilton. Was much more enjoyable then. Dockyard is too far from everything. Love the ferry ride to Hamilton from Dockyard. Thanks for sharing.😎

As a Bermudian, I would recommend getting twizzy instead... for those that are nervous on a bike, better way to go. Hope you travel eastward, and leave dockyard. :D You chose a great time to come down, Friday is a public holiday... make sure you hit the beaches!

I LOVE BERMUDA. I have been on 2 cruises out of Charleston to Bermuda and I have flown to Bermuda to visit an old friend. He lived in Bermuda and gave me his receipe for RUM SWIZZLES, and it is amazing. It is funny to take them to a pool in the HOT summer and they go down so easy and when they hit you....WATCH OUT!!!! The people in Bermuda are very nice and very proper. I found that going places while he was at work the people would help me to get back to where I was staying. I went to the Frog and Onion the first time I was in Bermuda. The Royal Dockyard used to be a fort and is now a shopping area. The first time my friends cruised to Bermuda we docked at St Georges. It is an amazing passage way that you could literaly touch the rocks. I loved St Georges, it is a very small town. Hamilton is very nice too. I learned to use the bus system when I was there. I did alot of walking too and found alot of amazing places. I NEVER rented a scooter because there are so many wrecks on them from tourists that do not know what they are doing. The water is the most beautiful color of blue I have ever seen. Oh, do I ever love Bermuda. I do love Rum Swizzles and I have the best receipe for them from a special Bermudian.

Can’t wait to go back. It’s my absolute favorite island and we’ve booked the NCL Prima in 2023. My favorite excursion was glass bottom boat into the Bermuda Triangle. Captain played theme to Gilligan’s Island as we started out. A couple we met was going to stay at hotel on the island where they spent their honeymoon so, at least in 2019, you could stay on the island overnight but it’s really pricey! If you don’t hear about this on an excursion, read about their system of acquiring fresh water on an island where there is very little of it. It’s fascinating.

I sailed my boat there and spent 3 weeks there….Bermuda is one of my favorite islands. The one issue is the weather gets cold like NC in the winter…The nice thing about the Bermuda Cruise is the time you get to spend on the island……Its nice to relax and explore like you said….It is one of the cleanest islands….Woody’s is great…Get a Dark n Stormy

I just love your posts, you have helped us figure out cruising and now of course we are hooked. We just went to Bermuda and was suppose to have three days in port. But hurricane Ian cut a day off the Bermuda port. One thing you mention is of course the scooter and little cars you can rent. I hope I didn't miss you saying this but when we arrived they told us we needed to rent the cars 6 months before our trip. The scooters were also sold out the day we arrived. My husband was first in line the next day and we were able to get one scooter. Did the whole island on the scooter, went to St. George and back to the port, we had a great time. Thanks again for the great information, you now have us looking into train trips.

Hi guys, try the Frog and Onion pub which is right near the ship! We loved our meal and got a souvenir beer mug with the purchase of the drink. Unfortunately, my husband broke the mug so we said we MUST return to get another one! Also, don't miss St. George's at the other end of the island. We stayed at Grotto Bay for our honeymoon, it's near the causeway. So excited for you to be in Bermuda and can't wait for more footage!

We sailed to Bermuda on the Celebrity Zenith years ago out of Bayonne, NJ. We docked at Hamilton for 2 days and then at St. George's for 2 days. We rented the scooted and they moved them from Hamilton to St George's. We have been there 3 times.

Just FYI there are 3 different cruise docks in Bermuda, Royal Naval Dockyard located at the western end on Great Sound (the busiest port), Hamilton Port located centrally on Hamilton Harbor, and St. George's Port located at the eastern end of the island on St. George's harbor and each one has different access outside of the port.

Bermuda is our favorite! We've been there 2xs. But our cruises were 7 days long (could've been longer) and 5 days there. We actually ported at St. George and Hamilton. We rented the scooter for the entire time and covered the whole island...never felt safer on any other island...absolutely the most beautiful. 🤩😍🌺🏝💙 So ready to go back.

Pam, we have cruised to Bermuda 11 or 12 times on Norwegian, HAL, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. We docked at St. George's a couple of times on smaller ships and loved it. We have gotten to like the Dockyard, though. NCL has a free ferry to St. George's and back to the Dockyard. Was there last week on the Pearl. But it was sad for me seeing so many shops, etc. closed in St. George's due to Covid. We're going back in October on the Pearl again.

Going to Bermuda in a few months on NCL Joy, but it’s for the day. I’ve been there a few times as a vacation spot. I thought I saw in your other video that we still have to complete a form specifically for entry to Bermuda. My cruise specialist made no mention of it. Guess I have to read the fine print. @@EECCTravels Make sure they use Wahoo, that's the preferred fish of choice when making a decent sandwich. You can stay off the ship overnight, providing you are staying at a residence or hotel, a few good clubs you could visit if you're familiar, if not, the ship is better. Enjoy your stay. The restaurant at the pier has a decent sandwich.

Bermuda about 5 years ago on the carnival I don't remember what ship I took a whole lot of pictures and when we passed through for some reason my camera erase all my pictures I came home with no pictures no one could figure out what happened when we went through the Bermuda triangle they were gone have a great time

I had completely forgotten that there is a beach glass beach not too far from the port. Ask the locals. It's amazing!!! You wouldn't know it's there unless someone tells you where it is....good luck!
