Bernadette is remarkable. I watched her on Good Times through the years, and had the good fortune of meeting her in July 2014 at the Essence Festival in New Orleans....I took a picture with her. I also sat a couple of seats down from her at a Tom Joyner sponsored Jacksons concert at the Gaylord Hotel in Orlando, Aug 2014. I think she's lovely.

I live in Plainfield, New Jersey and am a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, also in Plainfield. BernNadette Stanis once was a special guest speaker at a Saturday Event we were having at the Church. I went over and talked to her once the Event was over, because she was selling copies of a book she wrote about her mother. She is drop dead gorgeous, and she is very easy to talk too. I developed a crush on her as soon as I started watching Good Times. I was late to the party because I was born in 1979 when Good Times was in their last season.
