A good, professional performance from Szocs, and she was unusually gracious in victory, but that wasn't a fully fit Hayata. She couldn't play the extended topspin rallies she usually excels at, and her movement seemed hampered throughout. So many attempted chop blocks to cover her problems switching from forehand to backhand. I suspect she wouldn't have played this tournament, but for it's hometown location. Fingers crossed she's back to full fitness next year.

Hayata looked off colour which i assumed is her injury/absence

I don't think Hayata was playing this match with a serious intention to win, her serve receives were far below her normal level, and her aggression was non-existent. She seemed happy to push and play from behind off the table. The chop blocks also seemed like something she decided she'd work on in this match, even though they clearly weren't a winning strategy. A bizarre performance, she must still be coping with injury.

It is not a matter of intention. It is that Hina Hyata, like SUN Yingsha , has not fully recovered from her injuries and hurry to join this tournament. They lost the games naturally.
