Today in Melbourne it is 41 degrees celsius. I wish it was the chestnuts roasting and not me. Still, a beautiful song composed by my favourite male vocalist and recorded by my favourite accordion player. Richard.

Thank you very much for your compliments! I'm also a Mel Torme fan. PFEW! That is hot! For those of us now working in Fahrenheit, that's 106 degrees. I'm very glad that I'm not baking on the streets as I was eighteen years ago. Christmas is so magical over here, especially with my little Christmas angel, Stasha! Merry Christmas to you! Bernadette

@@patriciawaites8495 Thank you very much! Stasha is slowly improving but after an ear infection, sinus infection, and a viral infection, she's coming around slowly. We stopped her swim lessons because all her troubles seemed to start at that time. We'll see what we can do. Bernadette

Thank you for the interest! Actually, this is Ed's Giulietti which he allows me to play occasionally. It is a very early model Giulietti that was built by Serenelli. It was Giulietti's version of an Ernie Felice model. It does not have a model number. As you can hear, it has a most remarkable sound. If you watch my video of Tangerine, it shows the breadth of some of the tone colors. Bernadette

That one is always a sweet listen and you have the tone colours just right. All the very best for your Christmas and New Year. Slightly offtopic, after Christmas and New Year are settled, here is an old foxtrot version of a Sigmund Romberg piece by a band led by a Mark Fisher. It was adapted from part of a light opera to an old 78 rpm record. It was recorded in the early 1930s and is titled "I Bring A Love Song". I imagine you and your daughter might duet the piece, taking turns in the melody with your ability with the ornamentations backgrounding her instrumental solo of the vocal verse on the record. I tried it on accordion but the stiff wrist joint stops me from bending around the corner to play complex chords with the right hand these days. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYGti5uaepmoZsU

Thank you for your interest and compliments! The foxtrot is a very sweet piece and we'll take a look at it after the holidays. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and the best for 2025! Bernadette
