Leading orchestras and soloist to the joyfull land of plentiness. Eternal gratitude to his masterwork. Bravi to the magnificent Dame Faust and each and every musician involved. I play (a better thing to admit is : "I am played by") the violin since 45 years now...At 23'10, Lautari gave Mozart a good supper to share. Wishing you all Peace & Harmony, in & around you, In One Self. Take good care of you & each others. Always.

I had never heard Faust before . Had heard "about" her Berg concerto so I decided to check her out . If Haitink agrees to perform with an artist you know thery have to be "tops " and indeed what a joyous and tasteful Mozart . Surprised to see her long bows in phrases I learned with 2 but she can do anything and her feel in Mozart is among the very best ! Maybe she can make me love te schumann violin concerto . He should have kept writing violin concerti till he had the greatness of his piano concertante works ! The Sonatas are glorious .

mozart as fresh as ever,faust always pushing toward NEW BOUNDS as opposed to antiquated records w/ same old cadenzas. takes real guts to imbue your soul into a masterwork,takes 2 to tango! very ebullient use of open strings which are avoided for constant vibration,E sounds like a morning songbird!
