Who the hell is Hopkins in the context of this fight. What position does he have to justify him making his comments on this fight? The answer is he is a minority shareholder in Golden boy productions! There was no way in gods earth that Hopkins or any of the officials at this fight, promotional or referring are able to give an unbiased assessment of this fight, because Canelo is their man and also Canelo is their golden goose, in terms of the Mexican independence day and his ability to sell Pay per views. Yes ggg started to do better in the later rounds but Canelo was too ahead for ggg to catch up. And Canelo won the last round. Like Jim Lampley said, "GGG was great, Canelo was greater."

GGG won the fight. He was acting smart. His shots were powerful. The only credit to Canelo, that he was trying to stay in the center of the ring, but it is not enough to win the fight. GGG was great for his age. Almost 5 years Canelo was avoiding GGG, waiting when GGG gets older. Nevertheless, GGG made a lot more jabs, punches overall. I think, GGG was robbed the victory, despite very close fight, where both fighters showed great characters and determination to win. I saw the fight several times. The problem is that we expect GGG to win only be KO. So, my conclusion, is GGG was the winner. Canelo was barely moving especially the last 3 rounds, despite he was fast at the beginning rounds. GGG is some way reminds me Muhamed Ali. The more judges were biased the more we like him. He is a real champion. We know the TRUTH.

Hate or love it but that is the truth... GGG would have been a legend if had the right promotor from the start but this shows what you are truly made of. Not what everyone made him to be in late stages of his career. So he was and average fighter with the right people at the end so got him couple steps further then he would have got. People should except canelo showed up to fight that night and won. GGG only got three rounds possibly four.

Why do you have to pressure when you can hit without pressurising? Its boxing! If it was a close fight then canelo had to do more to take ggg belts. Because you want to be the champion so do it atleast it’s not that close. That’s what I been taught and read so why does this rule does not imply here? Robbery!
