As a moto guy who started MTB, I would love to see more MX influence. Different obstacles and moto sections seem sick. What do the core MTB only guys think?
@LouisCollison-rj5ksАй бұрын
Idk about the whoops but everything else seems sick
@jay1871Ай бұрын
@@LouisCollison-rj5ks yeah. Whoops and rollers are super dependent on having rear wheel drive so I could see how that would be odd. I don’t think a downhill roller section should be a staple obstacle or anything. I kinda like the idea of some shallow ruts!

Wow just trying to spot lines watching the video is hard enough can’t imagine how hard it is actually riding the course at WC Speed

Looking like Dan Atherton needs to build some tight spaced whoops onto a track somewhere for practice laps!?
@NextLevelRidingАй бұрын
more walker follow cams FTW!
@bermrollerАй бұрын
next practice everyone should agree to take the same line through the whoops and lock up the rear brake to cut a rut through them. I mean that would be more "moto bro" right?

New bike ? 👌

Line choice (hard as remembering seems to be) is critical here as I recon the top 10 are going to be split by a very narrow margin… 🎉

@TheFullKananiАй бұрын
There’s only 9 whoops so it’s safe.

tech boring but dangerous at speed. looks like a track that's going to break some bones

who puts whoops in a WC downhill race? wtf??

Been a thing on some WC tracks for years. The trick is to place them in the right spot and build them right. It appears they did not get any of that right here...
@onsight2822Ай бұрын
The trick is to man up and send it gas to flat style 😉
@jamisonrАй бұрын
They sort of look positioned to make riders scrub speed before the next section. Still looks miserable though.
@TwentykixxАй бұрын
Track is rubbish… 😖 Very disappointing from the US.
@JJ_MTB_15Ай бұрын
It’s ment for all age groups to ride, theres 650 riders
@onsight2822Ай бұрын
you obviously don't ride very fast / prefer slow tech ( ssfe stuf ) each to their own i guess ✌
@TwentykixxАй бұрын
Why bring the best in the world to a 1 fits all event. The track is redundant. Some of the sections look identical. Obviously some folks don’t have a clue on what is going on. On a professional DH track, going slow is treacherous in most cases. They should’ve managed this event better with a track suitable for the best in the world. The UCI needs to monitor events better, this is silly. 🫤 mediocre…

@@Twentykixxyou clearly don’t understand the goal of this event. And clearly you aren’t even there, so sit back and judge from your iPad, no one cares what you think.
