Although City's team is full of fantastc players and has been since the Abu Dhabi takeover, when David Silva left Bernardo"s been my favourite City-player alongside De Bruyne, because Bernardo is the only midfielder in Europe's top teams alongside Pedri who still have that style of gliding and twisting past players and effortlesly control the pace of the game (Foden's much more direct and less elegant.) Some complain about his lack of stats (just like Iniesta and similair types of players) but take him out of centre midfield and City can struggle to find openings. Even though De Bruyne is the best passer alongside Messi, Bernardo's ability to take on multiple opponents gives them a different weapon to break teams down. Alongside Messi David Silva, Thiago, Pedri and Hazard at 100% he's my favourite player in the best-known European leagues. Neymar's ability is amazing but he sickens me with all the theatrics and provoking his opponents
