Being an ex 330i owner, and someone who has done some laps here in just a std 320d E46 as well I can really say this vid is one of the few that impress me, this guy is really on it, the 330i really isn't "that quick" compared to the time posted here.

Yes I welded in the reinforcement plates and put in Solid subframe bushings

How much not including the price of the car do you think you’ve put into this? Asking because this is faster then a stock s550 Mustang gt 22,000-30+ with a 7:59 lap time and I’m assuming it cost less to build this 330ci

Gutes Auto, du bist sauber gefahren und man könnte schon sagen dass du einen Porsche Killer hast. Sound von dem Auto ist hervorragend und einen guten durchzugs starken Motor hat der auch, Autos die die Nordschleife in unter 8 Minuten bezwingen sind schon Top Abgestimmt. Klar es gibt immer noch einen schnelleren aber dein Auto ist schon große Klasse. Spielst du Gran Turismo Sport oder Assetto Corsa?, auf der Konsole mit Lenkrad kann man gut üben, fahre selber öfters mit meinem Opel insignia Opc auf der Nordschleife und zum üben nutze ich immer die Konsole.

@@henrik1743 yes its working very well. And i dont mean these cheap lsd kits for 200€ with very small clutch plates. I mean a proper lsd unit which is over 1500€😅😬

@@RacingBernd yes I know I had a e36 with LSD, you can't compare to a stock e46 330i diff.. shame they stopped that option on e46, yes 1500€ fora quaife diff is too much in my opinion. What kit are you running if you remember or is it just generic?

@@henrik1743 mine is custom made with a lsd unit from e36/e34. A lot of work with customised parts😅. Also with different ramp angles and more clutch plates. I would go for a clutch plate type lsd. The torsen diffs from quaife/wavetrac are not suitable for racetrack in my opinion

@Juden Arier Es ist nur der sperrkörper vom e36. Das Diff an sich ist noch das originale vom E46. Zum Einbau sind diverse Änderungen nötig(Distanzscheibe für das Tellerad, Abtriebsflansche bearbeiten, Andere Kugellager...)

This track configuration is BTG and to compare it to the manufacturers times you have to add about 25 seconds to get the full laptime.

Ja Reifen und Fahrwerk sind perfekt. Übersetzung auch sehr gut bis auf Brünnchen, da ist der 3. zu kurz und der 4. zu lang. Muss man halt öfter schalten :D

zockerbender _ haha ja okay da muss man eine Lösung finden :) ich fahre auch mit Domstreben vorn und hinten aber dann mit einem ST Fahrwerk ist halt nur für die Straße aber bin sehr zufrieden. Wie viel hat der Motor gelaufen und gab es schon Probleme bei der Belastung?

Ja mit der Übersetzung ist man aber trotzdem am schnellsten meiner Meinung nach. Motor hat 210.000km gelaufen und macht keine Probleme. Mit 5W50 ist die Öltemperatur auch nach mehreren Runden im Sommer sehr gut(Immer unter 110°C).

zockerbender _ das klingt doch super, ich bin jetzt bei 189.000km und nur leichte Alters Erscheinungen aber sonst auch sehr zufrieden, fahre 10W-60 und das ist echt super meiner Meinung nach. Allerdings fahre ich nicht auf der Strecke damit. Hast du Zusatz Instrumente für Öl? Will mir da was anschaffen aber noch keine Idee was.

10W-60 hatte ich vorher auch, aber da waren die Temperaturen im Schnitt 20-30°C höher als mit dem 5W-50. Ja habe Öldruck- und Temperaturanzeigen verbaut.

This was a touristenfahrt, not a track day, so you have to treat it as a two-lane autobahn or be prepared to face the consequences in case of a crash. It basically means you should only overtake on the left (and you’ll notice @RacingBernd only overtakes on the left here). Conversly, if faster traffic is coming from behind, you’re obliged to move to the right - you can see that happening in most of the other overtakes, but in this particular case, the Suzuki was prevented from committing to the apex in Fuchsrohe, so has to scrub some speed.
