Watching all your content on different breeds to make the best decision on a breed for me, just want to leave a tiny thank you for appreciation. Such well thought out and laid out information right here. Amazing for me as soon to be first time dog owner. And I've had a dog stay with me for a few weeks and I try doing what you say to do (was a ridgeback) and it worked fantastic, we both had a great time :)

A lot of chatter up front. If we could tuck into the meat straight away, that would be great. Please consider doing a video on how to dog sit a Bernese for an extended stay so the dog doesn’t have an anxiety meltdown missing it’s owner……especially since the dog’s home is only a few doors down. Thank you.

My Bernese ALWAYS went with me wherever I went, work, grocery store, church, family visits. Her separation anxiety got worse as she got older. She learned how to open the truck door, she wandered into the grocery store twice, looking for me. She again, came to the office door while I was in a meeting, the postal carrier came in to deliver mail and she almost took his legs out busting through the open door. She was trained in a crate and used the crate as a safe space, but age seemed to increase her anxiety.

My Berner puppy is highly more interested in being near us than any treat, including frozen kongs filled with her favorite foods

Can’t believe you just mention Cannock Chase 👍 I thought you sounded like you were from the Midlands xx

I am just considering rescuing an 8 month old but has diamond eye condition so there will be a high uninsured cost which is fine, I’m prepared for the cost but wondered if you have any experience or guidance in taking on this beautiful breed with this condition? Love all your videos 👍👍👍

We self-insure our Berner (Baggins) with a savings account funded with a weekly standing order. He's building up quite a good amount for future use, if and when needed.

Great video as always. Will using the technique of the Kong and the crate also work for Newfoundland puppies?
