Awesome video! If the timing is off on the upper looper, should I replace the gear?

You should only replace the gear if it is broken. The timing being off may be unrelated. If you aren't sure, it might be worthwhile having a sewing machine mechanic look at it first. I hope that helps, thanks for watching!
