She was a strong beautiful woman; whom I had the pleasure to meet in college. I will never forget her, she called me her friend. She made me feel like a person, not a disabled person in a wheelchair. A beautiful eulogy from her sister.

LAWDHaveMercy!!! I know what she talking about. My sibling fell dead just like Bernice sister Yolanda fell dead in the house recently. Its a pain and a void I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy. Unlike Bernice I have lost my will @ times to live. I got there to see my sibling laying dead in the floor.(Help Me Jesus)!! Though its been over 10 years since Yolanda left and just a few months since I lost my Brother..I bet you if I talked to Bernice today she will tell you it still hurts. I have excepted my life will never be the same..there's a big hole in my heart that can never be filled though I still have several brothers and sisters left..feel like part of my heart is missing.(Crying)!!!
@teresawicks98595 жыл бұрын
I understand what your talking about. My sister who was like a mother to me ALLLLLLLLL!! my life. IT'S been 5 years in August and I STILL HURT AND MISS HER SOOOOOO MUCH. SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND, MY OTHER MOTHER, MY CONFIDANT WHO NEVER JUDGED BUT ACCEPTED ME JUST AS I WAS GOOD AND BAD ME. WHEN OUR MOTHER DIED I WOULD GO TO HER HOUSE ON MOTHER'S DAY EVER YEAR, TEARS IN MY EYES AND WHEN SHE OPENED THE DOOR SHE KNEW THAT I WAS HURTING, SAD AND MISSING OUR MOTHER AND SHE WOULD SAY COME ON IN BABY. SHE DIDN'T HAVE MUCH MONEY BUT SHE ALWAYS HAD A DOLLAR FOR ME. IF SHE HAD A DOLLAR I HAD 50 CENT OF IT. SHE WAS TRULY SOMEONE WHO I FELT LOVED ME DEARLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY, AS I LOVED HER DEARLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY!! I COULD SHARE MY DEEPEST DARKEST PAINS AND SECRETS WITH HER AND SHE NEVER EVER JUDGED ME AND THAT'S WHAT I APPRECIATED ABOUT HER. I LOVE AND MISS YOU, MY BIG SISTER/ MOTHER AND HOPE TO SEE YOU IN HEAVEN!! I BETTER STOP TALKING BECAUSE TEARS ARE WELLING UP IN MY EYES BECAUSE I HAVE NO ONE BUT JESUS TO TALK TO ABOUT MY DEEPEST DARKEST SECRETS AND FAILINGS. HE HEALS ME AND ENCOURAGES ME TO CONTINUE ON LIVING FOR HIM SERVING HIM AND DOING HIS WILL. THANK YOU JESUS FOR MY SISTER!!!

Let me say this not every woman feel the need to get married some of us who is strong in god never find that person who believe and have faith as they do, remember who her father was, a strong man of God. Maybe she just never met the man who was right for her.all the kings children has strong faith.judge not least he be judged.some young girls look up to their father that's kind man they want one who has strong faith would love her as her father did her mother. When people ask why I didn't marry I said, I was teaching his word doing his will.I never met a man like my father, loving' gentle and kind and grew up with the word and treated others as he wished to be treated..people need live their life stay out others business..I answer to God and not man.that being said.I'm child of God and that's fine with me. It is NOT the same struggle. It is not the same fight and she has distanced herself from it because of what the WORD of GOD says about such things that are an abomination to HIM. He LOVES the sinner but HATES the sin. It separates us from HIM.

Unfortunately, the legacy of Rev. Bernice King's goodness as a minister is overshadowed by her connections to anti-gay Rights organizations and persons. As for the comment that beloved Coretta Scott King was anti-gay - that is absolutely false. Not only was Mrs. Coretta the grand marshal of the Atlanta Gay Pride celebration more than once, but she issued a public letter prior to her death denouncing anti-gay bigotry. Let's be honest if we must indeed continue to have this conversation.
@JLovebanks5 жыл бұрын
It's not overshadowed, she's preaching THE BIBLE and there is nothing wrong with that. God loves ALL and hates ALL sin so if your sin is being homosexual that's between you and Christ. That doesn't mean HE doesn't love you less but HE hates your sin and no HE didn't make you that way so don't go there with that rhetoric.
