“The effort by the sitting President of the United States to overturn the results is patently undemocratic,” democrat Chuck Schumer said. “The effort by others to amplify and burnish his ludicrous claims of fraud is equally revolting.” “This is America. We have elections. We have results. We make arguments based on the fact and reason-not conspiracy and fantasy,” democrat Chuck Schumer added. There’s only one problem with democrat Chuck’s “argument based on fact and reason.” Democrats have been challenging the electoral vote certification for 2 decades. The last three times a republican has been elected president - Trump in 2016 and George W. Bush in both 2000 and 2004 - democrats in the House have brought objections to the electoral votes in states the GOP nominee won. In early 2005 specifically, democrat Barbara Boxer, along with democrat. Stephanie Tubbs, objected to Bush’s 2004 electoral votes in Ohio. Illinois Senator democrat Dick Durbin appears to be even more incensed at republican Josh Hawley’s plan to object to the electoral college vote. “The political equivalent of barking at the moon,” democrat Dick Durbin, said of republican Hawley joining the challenge to electoral slates. “This won’t be taken seriously, nor should it be. The American people made a decision on Nov. 3rd and that decision must and will be honored and protected by the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.” Democrat Dick Durbin seems to forget he was singing a different tune in 2005. Then, it was democrats questioning the results of the Ohio vote which went narrowly for George Bush. Democrat Durbin had words of praise for democrat Boxer then: “Some may criticize our colleague from California for bringing us here for this brief debate,” Durbin said on the Senate floor following Boxer’s objection, while noting that he would vote to certify the Ohio electoral votes for Bush. “I thank her for doing that because it gives members an opportunity once again on a bipartisan basis to look at a challenge that we face not just in the last election in one State but in many States.” In fact, the Ohio electoral vote challenge was only the beginning. Rumors and conspiracy theories swirled around the outcome on election night that saw Bush winning Ohio by a close, but the surprisingly comfortable margin of 120,000 votes. So why are so many of these headlines familiar to us today? Democrat Mother Jones: “Recounting the Election: Was Ohio stolen?” Democrat New York Times:“Glitch Found in Ohio Counting” They even included some voting machine controversies. Democrat National Election Defense Coalition: “PARTISAN TECHNOLOGY FIRM IS IMPLICATED IN JOHN KERRY’S IMPLAUSIBLE LOSS IN OHIO 2004 Democrat NBC News: “Machine Glitch Gave Bush Extra Ohio Votes”

@cgoins19934 жыл бұрын
No, he’s completely out of touch. His ideas sound good in theory, but they would never work in reality. His radical propositions are why socialism isn’t taken seriously by anyone that isn’t a socialist. Increasing taxes on the rich will only result in those companies paying people less. Then once laws are passed for them to be forced to pay people more those companies will just move to countries where the tax code and employment laws benefit them more. Our economic problems are a result of government spending. Not “socialism for the rich”. Socialism not only would push companies out of America, but it also gives people less incentive to earn their money when they can receive it by doing nothing via tax revenue on the rich
@DouglasJohnson.4 жыл бұрын
@@cgoins1993 No actually you're wrong. In the rest of the civilized world they have regulated capitalism. There are caps on what corporations and executives can make. Scotland lowered taxes for corporations down to 4% and it RUINED their economy. The state of Kansas eliminated ALL corporate tax, and their economy CRASHED and BURNED. Meanwhile, Germany has the strongest worker unions in the world and not coincidentally, the strongest ECONOMY in the world. People deride socialism without realizing that America is a blend of socialism and capitalism. The only problem is, our capitalism isn't regulated AT ALL and it has turned our nation into a third world country. The rich were taxed far more during FDR's administration and the middle class and economy of America broke records in how fast it grew after languishing in the Dust Bowl era, previously. History is not on your side. No one said do away with capitalism in this clip. All that was said was if you have money to give away to corporations to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars, that THEY DO NOT NEED, then maybe, just maybe you could help Americans that are going hungry and being forced out of their homes.

@@DouglasJohnson. America is not a 3rd world country. Also I’m sure China would make an exception for the “CEO cap” for a few kickbacks from Jeff Bezos if he decided to move operations to China. Also the main reason people are going hungry and losing their homes is because of government lockdowns from COVID. If you want to make the argument that we’ve mishandled this outbreak I’d have no problem agreeing with you. However the idea that socialism would work in America is an outright fantasy. I agree that Unions are important, but nearly every industry in America that could actually have unions (teachers and laborers) already have them in a lot of places. Factory/warehouse employees don’t posses the skill for them to work for the most part, neither do people in the service industry (waiters/cashiers) and people in the medical field get paid well enough to where they don’t need them. The government gives money to corporations because those companies reinvest that money back into their companies which results in more jobs. Or they buy back their own stocks which results in financial gain with investors which helps people either in their 401k or middle class people like myself that invest in the market

Ohh no no no no no..lol!....Bern is not a democrat...he is a Democratic Socialist...there is a Gigantic difference & your eyes are noticing it for the First time...idk why, how, no one has noticed him until now, but Gladly i'll take it anyway :)

Yeah our democrats are not the left. Thats why they would never stand behind someone like bernie (they have already proven they are willing to cheat to avoid that). There is no left in america. We have right and center, and both parties support the same horrible shit, their only disagreements are social issues (which is intentional, because they want to divide us so they can continue their control. Red or blue doesnt mattter! The only political party in america is purple, and the american people need to morph into a rabid pack of purple people eaters lol.
