OMGosh! I love you!!! I'm not exactly a novice but I would say a confident intermediate quilter (6 yrs) and I'm trying to learn more sewing techniques. I just watched your video and I'm so happy to have come across you. I very much appreciate your teaching style and how you demonstrate the hints and tips of a procedure. I never sewed before. When I retired (41 yrs in ER) I decided to take up quilting and took some classes. I didn't even know how to thread a machine much less stitch with it. So I learned the basics and everything else I've picked up from YT videos and some books. Now, thanks to you, I will be able to make throw pillows with piping and not just envelope back pillow covers. I love your style of teaching and your very calm and well thought out and clear instructions. I will be watching all your videos. I'm so happy to have found you!!! ❤💯👍🤗

Thank you for a great demonstration of these two presser feet. I really liked how you explained the difference between the 12 and the 12 C. I also appreciated that you gave the maximum cord size for use with the 12 C. Thank you so much!

How does this foot compare to the uneven foot for overlocking bulky sweater knits. I want to use my 570QE to make hoodies. Great instruction

Great Video, BUT question....I just got a #12 foot and putting it on my Bernina 550 it doesn't appear to fit. The needle is too far forward to go through the slot. What am I doing wrong?

I sooooo enjoy foot videos. 💗Cody, at 3:23 your foot seemed to automatically go down without your pushing the needle up/down. Is this because of the machine you’re using? I have a 475.
@sewingwithcodyandpete86513 жыл бұрын
Yes so the 770 and hat I am on when I press the foot peddle it automatically drops the foot for you to start sewing there isn’t a lever in the back of the machine that raises or lowers the foot. Also when you press the thread cutter it then raises the foot up when it’s done cutting the thread.

@@sewingwithcodyandpete8651 man that is cool. Thanks so much for this explanation as I keep seeing this but not sure how it’s happening.

Why is there a Tesla logo on your sewing machine? (just curious)
