Bernina V9: Embroidering Love This Valentine's Day

This is a BERNINA V9 software tutorial for creating a project in the hoop. You will use many of the tools in the sotware to make this Valentine Heart with a pocket project. Use Art Canvas which is Coreldraw to create the heart shape and then automatically convert the heart to stitches. Create a stipple fill and then convert the fill to couching, Use the 43 foot to embroider the couching. Mirror merge, knife tool, weld, measurement tool and more are shown.

I am trying to do this. Do well up until the knife and delete the top half of heart. Knife appears to work when enter. But when i select off and select object it doesn’t delete. Cannot figure what im doing wrong. Thx Amy

Hmmm. Select the heart shape. Make sure it stays selected while cutting. Cut with two clicks across the line then select the knife again to click on the other side. After using the knife on both sides deselect and choose just the top.
