بیرونِ خانہ گر کی تن غحیچھان نیشے اسوم ,
دَرونِ خانہ اوا تہ جلوان بڑاچھے اسوم
To the outer world I've blinded myself though,
In the inner world I've garnered your treasured splendours.
بیرونِ خانہ تہ سوم کیہ رشتہ نکی بےشک ,
دَرونِ خانہ کھانجہ تہ نقشو ساوزے اسوم .
Bond-deprived with you do I stand in the outer world, no doubt,
In the inner world, however, I've drawn thy portrait on the wall manifest.
بیرونِ خانہ اوا دی نوغور گانیمان بو ,
دَرونِ خانہ تن سورو دوران غیرے اسوم
Castles after castles do I win in the outer world,
In the inner world, but, I've felled the house that roofs me.
بیرون خانہ بہتوناسو زمانہ اسور,
درون خانہ تہ بچین جنت سومئے اسوم .
A monster terrifying in the outer world does await us,
Heaven in the inner world, therefore, have I adorned for you.
بیرون خانہ تشنہ گیو عالم بیہودہ,
درون خانہ اشروان دی دش بوشئے اسوم.
A craving drought in the outer world does lurk ruthlessly,
Ah, tears of anguish I've poured down in the inner world!
بیرون خانہ وہشتو منظر کی پیش پیش,
درون خانہ تن سورو ہمیش ہوسے اسوم.
Bleak scenes of horror, if, do haunt the outer world,
Niches of laughter have I carved in the inner world.
بیرون خانہ دواحتہ کی قلف دی زنگار,
درون خانہ تہ یادان مدام باسے اسوم .
Rusty has gone, though, the padlock on the door of the outer world,
Most cherishingly thy memories do I tend in the inner world.
بیرون خانہ کیوت کی ہوسیکو ہوئے کوشش,
درون خانہ تے ساعتہ دی ژیرغے اسوم
A moment of glee, if at all, I've brought about in the outer world,
The selfsame moment in the inner world I've cried, oh a bitter bargain!
بیرونِ خانہ ہش جوشے کی اسور تہ حفیظ ,
دَرونِ خانہ تن ساری دی تہ کھوشتے اسوم
In the outer world, you deem, do I stand as thy guard,
In the inner world, from my own self do I hide thee, in truth.
