@@cannibistalks dude don't let that discourage you, I honestly just don't even understand when people say things like that. How could an awesome guitarist discourage you or make you want to quit? When I see something super badass it makes me think "damn I didn't even know that was possible, but I'm super glad I found it because now that I did, I have the opportunity to learn it." The only difference between you & them is amount of practice, & of course knowledge (which also requires practice.) Better way to put it would be difference of experience; but for real that's it, you CAN play this song no matter how good you currently are. It's hard to write this music yeah the guy who made this song is a damn genius, but just to play someone else's music is super easy. Composing requires a ton of knowledge & yeah, for you to actually be good. But I know plenty of people who consider RHCP to be really great yet scar tissue was literally the 1st song my little brother ever learned when he started playing. So yeah learning this song wouldn't be that hard & you CAN do it at your current level, even if it takes you a year to earn lol (especially if it does) you will be up to that level, it's by far the fastest way to "level up" & get better. Leanrnsongs you know you aren't goo enough to play, and when you're done learning you're that good all of a sudden lol it's great. If you ever want any tips on playing or any video made like "how to play" vids or even if you want lessons, just let me know bro, I'd be honored to spread the knowledge to you. I've been teaching awhile usually just in person or over skype but I've been starting to get into online classes & tutorial videos lately too. Great luck to you though brother, I hope whatever you do/choose it works out & you reach your shred goals quickly! (That's what my program is all about, seeing what the student actually wants to learn & teaching it to thme instead of just teaching whatever the teacher "thinks" they should know lol) best of luck, you CAN do it!
