The group consists of members ACE, Max, Alpha, J, Joker, Jason and Gift (Special Member). They won 1st Place on the Dance Category at the 28th Philippine-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival on September 28, 2018. Won as Grand Winner on Seoul Music Awards PH Dance To Your Seoul on November 10, 2019. They performed the opening act on Seoul Music Awards 2020 (January 30, 2020) making them the first Filipino act to do so. They performed alongside Twice, Monsta X, Red Velvet, NCT, TXT, Taeyeon and more. They had a pre-debut single on April 3, 2020 called, “One Dream“. They debuted on July 31, 2020 with their song “You Are The One (Ttak Maja Nuh)“ 🔥 1ST.ONE seeks to captivate the world with its high-quality music and sharp powerful choreography. Mr. Choi Hyun Jun, member of Korea’s vocal powerhouse group V.O.S. and a member of the Korean production team E.ONE, is behind the group’s debut single. E.ONE is known for producing for renowned K-Pop groups such as EXO, TWICE, A-Pink, Wonder Girls, IZ*One, GFRIEND, and April, just to name a few. The dance, on the other hand, was choreographed by Ryu.D, one of Korea’s renowned choreographers, and leader of the Korean dance and choreography team AUSPICIOUS responsible for the choreographies of Korea’s best idol groups like BTS, EXO, NCT and TXT. 🔥

OMG DONGKIZ THEY ARE SOOO UNDERRATED, I'M OVERJOYED YOU REACTED TO THEM. Their releases so far are amazing both concept wise & music wise. This year they went more edgy. I have a theory all their MVs are kinda inspired by movies & TV shows if you think about it. They are so amazing, they need more love 💖😭

I LOVE Dongkiz’s funky sound and they really know how to do it right. If I had to choose, Lupin is more my type of style, but Nom was so good too! I like the way the triplets are used and that chromatic line in the 2 verse gave me chills. But my favorite part has to be that timbre of the trombone. Even though it was electric, it still had that warmth you get from a regular trombone and I want to hear that sound more in kpop. 😍🥰

Well, this was a pleasant surprise! Not many people know about Dongkiz, which is honestly a shame. I learned about them earlier this year from an acquaintance, who recommended them after their Lupin comeback, and I really enjoy their general vibe and aesthetic. I don't stan or anything, but they're a group that I have my eye on for sure. Lupin's choreo is one of my top faves of 2020, I love dances that utilize props, and they did it so cleverly and with a lot of panache.

yay! dongkiz is one of ny favorite groups! their strength is in their fun performance and how their energy can be felt by anyone watching. my favorite from them is actually Fever because they have a neat shoulder move and it's ultra fun 😆

Btw I don't know if you watched some of the live stages to Lupin, but sometimes they were freakin' changing the canes in the middle of the performance. Like they would start with silver ones and then next the tissues would suddenly change to pink ones. Like WTF my mind was blown by it.

Thank you for doing Dongkiz!! 😭 they’re so underappreciated, it hurts... please check out their new comeback song “Beautiful” as well, it’s amazing and very different from their usual music (although you can tell it’s Dongkiz’ sound)! Also, all Dongkiz members are really good dancers! They participated in some of ARTBEAT’s dance covers in order to promote the group before their debut. ^^

you guys reacted to them!! thank you!! i honestly think dongkiz is one of the most unique kpop groups ive never seen a group quite like them sound and concept wise. they have a funky and retro sound that you can definitely hear in nom and also hear in lupin even tho its such a different concept. their other mvs are so much fun as well, blockbuster (literally based off of the ghostbusters) and fever (which is is disco-y (and has props again)) and theres also this cover of 미인 kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKmnfWZ5pq-eprM which is what introduced them to me. they also recently had a comeback that is nothing like what they have done before. thank you for reacting to them! not a lot of people do so we appreciate it!
