@Limited Infinity 2016/17 Berserk is mid at best. Trust me, I've watched it in its entirety. Doesn't hold a candle to the manga or previous adaptations.

@Limited Infinity But it's berserk. A "Mid" adaptation isn't acceptable for a series as good as Beserk. Of course people are going to treat it as terrible when the original is *_that good_* in comparison. The 2016/17 adaptation is not the way to experience berserk nor appreciate it's amazing story, and most will tell you you're better off reading the manga than a "mid" anime adaptation. At least for Berserk, mediocrity or lower just isn't good compared to the original stuff. Not to mention, people are subject to their opinions and critism is warranted for such a popular series as Beserk. In my opinion, the new anime is horse shite, even in comparison to the older anime. The pacing, animation, and consistency in those things are incredibly important when it comes to making an enjoyable anime, and the 2016/17 adaptation just failed to deliver in all those departments.

@@justoneguy2487 nah, it easily is a 9/10. it just doesn't seem like an anime cause of all of the 3d, and that's the only thing most kids are crying about. you also got the upgraded blu-ray edition, which is well made. it's got a great soundtrack, incredible pacing considering it is a show after all, perfect voice actors, the action scenes really pack a punch, and much much more. but of course, it's "cooler" to follow the hate train.

Well then just would like to say if I won the lottery I'd buy the rights to berserk and pay studio Madhouse to redo the abomination that is 2016 and 17 berserk. I'd ask them to also animate the lost children arc and sell it in a DvD bundle with the remake for a additional 30$ on top of the normal DvD price. Cause you'd be getting 8 more episodes of the anime. I'd request the OLD berserk cast to voice it. For the English dub. And the golden age arc movie cast for the Japanese dub

Ruslan, go watch Land of the Lustrous to see a real 3D anime. Berserk on all levels of 3D are appalling. You could even watch Ajin, Appleseed and even Inuyashiki has a few better 3D animated scenes than the entirety of Berserk. IDC about anything else said really. But what I really dislike is lack of battle music (it's like 3 at best and most time they use Forces 2) which creates boring fight scenes. I mean fight with the zombies in the first episode is awesome. Everything there is great. And fights like this are really rare in this anime.
