This manga came before a lot of things... internet, mass produced manga and anime from other countries WITH internet at their fingertips. This series was created before the great age of internet inspiration which must've been so incredibly difficult.

It's one thing bein an artist who could create such detailed illustrations like Miura but it's an entirely other thing where ya can create such a captivatin story like Berserk at the same time. I'm willing to bet that Miura had a lot of time and practice before Berserk to hone his artistic ability. But I also think that he was definitely blessed with a lot of natural talent. A lot of people (myself included) could toil and work for years, maybe even decades before even coming close to his level of detail. Even in the start of Berserk just one panel I think would take me an unimaginably long amount of time to do. God rest his soul

While it is a manga, it almost feels like the drawings featured here are somehow alive and speaks for itself.
