Oh my God it drives me nuts looking at you so easily put the cape on, it took me like 20 minutes to get the cape on, I could not figure out what the hell was wrong, it just wouldn’t go on. Eventually one of the front corners of the cape that has the gold feathers on just snapped off and went flying, and then it went on haha, the bloody ends of the cape were warped. I couldn’t even stick it on correctly because it’s warped in, so I just lightly glued it back, it’s not flush but still looks fine. But dude the helmet portrait is so much better, I didn’t even bother taking the other portrait out of the box, it looks amazing, they did such a wonderful job on his face, his eyes actually look alive, it’s so good. I’m beyond happy, I will never ever sell this.

I’ve just bought this, got the EX version with the helmet portrait, I cannot believe it was still in stock, I thought it was sold out long ago like all the old Berserk pieces, I never even bothered checking it because I thought for sure it was sold out. I think I got the last one because it’s now sold out, so I’m beyond happy to get it, because having the helmet version is very important as that’s the one I’ll be displaying. I’m just so so happy to get it.

Awesome review as always. I received the exclusive version from SSC last week but have yet to open it. I'm still trying to figure out where to put it. Of course it will go next to my Guts statue, but that would mean having to move the Medusa statue somewhere. Some heavy pieces to be moving around!

Berserk is my all time favorite manga, got the brand of sacrifice on my chest. I even own the box of war dvd set, the vhs, and all the manga with the book ends. I ordered this and 2 other berserk ones from prime 1, hope to collect them and find the human zodd form to add to my collection of berserk stuff

Probably the best piece in the Berserk line, the flow of the cloak is exceptional and the barbs/overall vane of the feathers is outstanding. Seems heavily influenced by Louis XIV.......mightily impressive! Cheers, 8-)

Wow it broke my heart to see that piece on his armor greak off like that. Like you I am not familiar with the character but love the look of this statue. It gives me a Joan of arc feel when I see it. Of course it ended badly for Joan, hopefully not for Griffith. You say it has a head problem (That's what she said) I could see that with all that head of hair.that has to be put in place. Anyway the concept is very interesting and love that there is allot going on yet it doesn't take away from the main character. Those swords are awesome and even better that they are metal. Very Dynamic. Definitely a 4 out of 5

I just ordered the EX bonus version from the P1 site last week. I think I prefer the portrait without the helmet better, but the EX version was only $30 more so I bought it anyways.

Be careful when you to put the visor on the helmeted portrait. I started to slide it into the holes to lock it in and it snapped after barely flexing. Helmet is broken now, waiting on a response from Prime 1

Yea I had the same problem with the head, it’s like it doesn’t key in correctly, it’s like there’s no magnet. But that sword goes in the rock behind his left leg, just behind and to the left (when standing behind). I can’t believe you sold this, you’re nuts.

@@TheXtremeChannelMrX Really? How on earth does that statue not get snapped up? It’s the only old Berserk statue that isn’t sold out, the regular version is still available, and it’s amazing. I couldn’t believe it when I checked the Prime1 site and seen it was still available, but I think I got the last one, because when I checked the site again a while later it was sold out. I absolutely love it, you should hold on to it, I’d say you’ll get good money for it in a few years.

I am trying to convince my wife to accept the blood and gore from this line. Plus the pricing and what you get is way better than Nier. Anything from Square Enix line will probably give less and more greedy than other anime/game line. Prime 1 can not even sell them after making them.

When I put the Cape on, it scratched the body and broke parts of his gauntlets. Also the eagles won't fit in properly. I'm sure the problem is with the Cape. If I don't get a refund or replacement I won't shop with prime one again.

Guts is kinda a secondary good guy? Oh man hahaha. I remember assembling this statue. I had a problem finding where one of those feathers went. I was going insane and those instructions are worthless. Seriously P1 makes some sucky instructions. Griffith's head was was loose in the key, kinda weird to have that but okay I suppose. I just check mine and the sword goes into the back. Virtually the opposite side of the falcon of light emblem on the front of the base.

The problem I have with it is they’re not falcons, they look nothing like a falcon, falcons have hooked beaks & pointed wings. The wings look more like a hawks wings but the head looks nothing like a hawk. I can’t get a good look at the face but from what I can see it doesn’t look like any bird of prey. I don’t know how they got the shape so wrong. And there is a white falcon, it’s called the Gyrfalcon, Google it and see if it looks anything like these, it doesn’t, these are not falcons.
