I enjoy Bert. He seems like a genuinely fun and nice person, alcoholism aside. That said, he's seriously riding this Machine bit horse into the ground. Christ bro, the amount of talent in your inner circle, you think one person would have an honest conversation about how maybe an infusion of some new material and not the same gimmick would go a long way.

What are you talking about, new material? Bert is one the most prolific and hardest working comics out there. The Machine kinda propelled him into the light, but he has shown that was not a fluke. have you seen him live? Guy comes up with a new hour every 12-18 months and then tells the machine at the end and people lose their god damned minds. People are yelling "TELL THE MACHINE" For like an hour + before he even gets to it. I feel like if he could have stopped telling it, he would have. But if your fans, the people that pay your bills want to hear you tell the same story every time they see you, you tell the damn story.
