I like how Dorothy said "a home" at 0:39 instead of saying "my home" where if she said "a home" to the Wizard (who isn't really a Wizard) he could say "well, you made some friends here so make Oz your home."

In the books, she eventually did. In book 6, "The Emerald City of Oz," the bank was about to foreclose on the farm, so Dorothy asked Princess Ozma to wish her, Aunt Em, and Uncle Henry to live in Oz.

But here on the film, Dorothy thought differently in the scene after the Wizard flew up in the hot air balloon leaving her behind where she said "now I'll never get home" and Lion said "stay with us then Dorothy, we all love you, we don't want you to go" with Scarecrow and Tinman nodding saying "yes" where Dorothy said "that's very kind of you but this could never be like Kansas."
