Why do all of Rogan’s buddies feel the need to start their own podcast. I guess I should blame his fans instead.. since they’re the ones listening to this crap and making them famous. First it was Schaub.. and now it’s getting out of control. They should be thanking Rogan at the start of each episode instead of talking about their sponsors, because they wouldn’t be here without him All his buddies that have podcasts seem to get Joe’s sloppy seconds as well, instead of getting their own guests.. it’s hilarious. The only one worth listening to is Lex Fridman

I am Italian and roughly the age of Amanda, I know Perugia and university life in Italy very well. I have watched and read a large amount of reliable material on this case and the more I learn the more I feel extremely angry and embarrassed at the people who stole the best years from this girl who came to experience my country with the best intentions and who understands our culture so deeply. I feel so sorry for what she went through and I wish I could give her a hug and apologise on behalf of all the good and honest people of Italy. I hope you read this Amanda. @@TheWchurchill4pm I completely agree. But I do understand that because her story only really was told by herself (on a mass scale) in a book, a documentary on Netflix, and in these recent podcast appearances. (I might have forgotten some) They will focus on this right now, as that is still very interesting, and when she speaks about it, she captured the audience. Also we still, even here at the Bert cast, get the "she a murder, she did it, hope she is put back in jail comments from sad people" I hope that the narrative when she is involved will change to something else. maybe more of just her giving insight to related subjects, or as you said maybe literature. A lot of people come out with the feeling of "Oh! she is really really smart, and a great storyteller" if you check the comments, there are fortunately still an overwhelming amount of comments about that. we did get a hint of it at Whitney's podcast. But there she was interrupted every 6 seconds. I hope she starts a more unproduced podcast, with a looser form factor. I really think people would love that. BUT I also fear I will bring her attention from the haters.

Are we talking about the Amanda Knox the Italian Police 👮‍♂️ wanted to bring back for a retrial , because she was not only dangerously esoteric but dysfunctional too. The Italian Justice System And Police are as assured about Amanda’s part in the murder as the Portuguese police and Justice System are about Madeleine Mc Cann. I advise people not be overcome with sympathy for convincing personal testimonies by Amanda who sees herself as the victim in all of this. All of it. But to read the Case thoroughly and explore All Evidence empirically .

In order to believe that Knox and Sollecito are innocent, you have to overlook the following: Knox's accusation against her employer, a claim she made after less than TWO HOURS of being interviewed (not 40, like Team Knox would have you believe - this is a proven fact) and stuck to for 3 weeks, letting her innocent boss rot in jail all the while. The fact that Meredith Kercher’s blood was found mixed inside Knox’s fresh DNA in 5 different spots in the bathroom. The fact the Knox was bleeding on the day of the murder, and left blood smeared in the bathroom, blood which she herself admits was not there the day before. Sollecito’s DNA on Meredith’s bra clasp - with a 16 loci match, the probability that the DNA belongs to someone else is one in a trillion, and with only ONE other DNA trace of him in the cottage (cigarette butt) the idea of contamination is near impossible. Knox’s DNA on the handle of the murder weapon and Meredith’s on the blade. Sollectio tried to explain this by saying he had accidentally pricked Meredith with his knife while she had been at his house. She had never been there. The THREE sets of bloody footprints, one a match for Guede, one a match for Sollecito, and one in Knox’s size, in her own DNA, mixed with Meredith’s. The single bloody footprint on the bathmat, which is a perfect match for Sollecito, and also, being the only bloody footprint with no others around it, is undisputed proof a clean up happened. The blatantly staged crime scene, with glass on TOP of the clothes strewn around, a near impossible window entry point, and not a single trace of Guede anywhere in that room, not to mention the fact Knox and Sollecito ‘knew’ nothing had been taken before anyone had even looked. The fact that Guede’s footprints lead right out Meredith’s room out the front door and he has an alibi for the rest of the night, meaning we KNOW it wasn’t Guede who returned to the scene hours later, staged a burglary, cleaned up and moved the body. The fact that Knox’s lamp was found in Meredith’s room with no fingerprints whatsoever - more proof of a clean up. The incredible amount of changes in her account before, during, and after she was arrested. Total lack of alibi after multiple attempts, and then Sollecito withdrawing his alibi for her. Her dubious account of her activity the morning after the murder, including her lies about Meredith’s locked door, her reaction to the blood, and the contradictions to this she makes in her testimony, email home, and in her book. The fact Knox knew several details about her murder she could not possibly have known: cause of death, position of body, that there had been more than one attacker, that Meredith had been assaulted etc. The frantic call she made to her mother in the middle of the night that she ‘forgets’ making. The witness who saw her and Sollecito by the cottage on the murder night. The shopkeeper who saw her when she claimed to be in her bed sleeping. Her overall behaviour after the murder. And I can go on, and on, and on. My point is that, whatever opinion people have as to their guilty or innocence, there is enough evidence to convict, and however many times those claims of “no evidence" are repeated, it doesn't make it true.
@mytrip6991
@mytrip6991 Жыл бұрын
If you're going to copy and paste troll Les Grossman aka Mike Hunt's work, at least give him credit. I'll just c&p my response to his, not your, post from quite a while ago: Les Gross; in order to believe For the umpteenth time, Les Grossman continues to just cut and paste the same lying posts... often written before the final acquittal...in an effort to push down any thread disproving them. I'm re-posting my rebuttal exposing his lies here to combat that. LG never engages in a discussion and never addresses the evidence presented that disproves his claims. He's a lying, cowardly, troll who gets some kind of sick pleasure out of harassing Knox even 7 years after her final acquittal. In order to believe Mike Hunt (better known as John Doe and Les Grossman), you have to overlook that he's been a lying troll for years who presents disproved myths as fact and just downright lies. You have to overlook the actual court records, testimony and experts' reports and believe a sick troll who copies and pastes his same posts repeatedly and upvotes them himself. He's posted this same post at least 5 times in the last month along with others he just c&p's repeatedly. So I'm going to post the truth: " The fact that Meredith Kercher’s blood was found mixed inside Knox’s fresh DNA in 5 different spots in the bathroom." When DNA is deposited cannot be dated. That is a scientific fact. Finding the mixed DNA of people who live together and share the same bathroom is common and expected. The DNA does not have to be left at the same time and can be day, weeks or months apart. They become mixed when the sample swab wipes up both sets of DNA. It's like taking a yellow crayon and coloring over a red crayon marking; you'll get orange. "less than TWO HOURS of being interviewed "? The official beginning time of that interrogation was 11:00 but questioning actually began closer to 10:30 per the testimony of Ficarra who was the interrogator. The first statement was at 1:45. Unless "Mike Hunt" uses different math than the rest of us, that is not 'under TWO HOURS". "The fact the Knox was bleeding on the day of the murder, and left blood smeared in the bathroom, blood which she herself admits was not there the day before." Two small drops on the faucet were not proved to be deposited on the day of the murder. Just because Knox says she didn't see it on Nov. 1 is not proof it wasn't there. Logic says if she had seen it, she'd have cleaned it up. At the very least, she'd have lied and said she saw it but forgot to clean it. No wounds or cuts were found on Knox. "Sollecito’s DNA on Meredith’s bra clasp"....along with the DNA of at least two other unidentified men. Did those two men also touch MK's bra hook? Two independent, court appointed...not police...forensic expert determined that DNA was not reliable evidence and most likely due to contamination resulting from the egregious failure to follow anti-contamination protocols by the police. "the idea of contamination is near impossible". Not according to the police video which shows the hook being touched by a visibly dirty glove, handed around to several officers also wearing gloves that Stefanoni admitted were not changed between handling evidence. "Knox’s DNA on the handle of the murder weapon and Meredith’s on the blade" Meredith's DNA was not on the blade as concluded by two independent, court assigned forensic experts. Experts who had more advanced degrees in forensics and more experience then Stefanoni who claimed MK's DNA was on the blade. Nor was any blood found on the knife after repeated testing. The only way to remove all traces was by soaking in bleach...which would have destroyed any existing DNA. "The single bloody footprint on the bathmat, which is a perfect match for Sollecito" Not according to Prof. Vinci who used Crimescope, a forensic lighting tool used to make photos more visible, and who also examined the mat in person, neither of which the prosecution expert did. He excluded Sollecito. "and also, being the only bloody footprint with no others around it, is undisputed proof a clean up happened." There is no forensic evidence of a clean up. None. Logic says that, if that were Sollecito's print, the pair would have removed the rug or at least washed it. Instead, they pointed it out to the police. I could continue with the rest of his lies, but I think I've proved what a liar he is.

@Allen Wilson - I think it was in 2014 that her mother “dragged” her (she’s mentioned this in interviews) to an Innocence Project event in Portland. She had just been convicted for the second time and was facing the possibility of going back to prison. She arrived at the event thinking she’d have to relive everything, telling people about her case. Then two men, both exonerees, came up her and one of them said, “You don’t have to explain anything, little sister. We know, we know.” ❤️

You'll find all kinds of them online, but the trouble is, most of them are made by amateurs and/or highly biased people. I've found many with several factual errors. Personally, I'd recommend Netflix's "Amanda Knox". The producers interview Knox, Sollecito, Prosecutor Mignini, tabloid reporter Nick Pisa, and others.

Years ago, after Amanda was back in the US, her story was blowing up everywhere and I ran into a girl that looked exactly like her at the grocery store.--I live near the Seattle area. I still don't know if it was her or not, but I feel very confident that it was. I just remember looking at her and thinking she looked familiar and she noticed my glance at her and her face turned more of a frightened or startled expression. This is when I realized this girl looked like Amanda Knox rather than someone I knew personally. The expression of my face probably reflected the short moment that my brain took, to associate that she looked familiar to me. If it was her, she probably noticed me, thinking that I recognize her from the news and might possibly confront her. I immediately felt bad and nodded and looked away at some shelves because I wanted her to feel like she could be out in public and just feel normal. I'll never know for sure if it truly was Amanda or not, but I'm just glad that she is thriving now, and wish I could tell her that I'm sorry if I caused any discomfort by any perceived expression on my face.

For those who may not be aware this is what the Supreme Court in Italy decided in relation to the three co-accused - 1. Knox, as a witness who was herself present at the scene of the murder, dishonestly and knowingly accused an innocent man, of the murder. She was sentenced to a term of 3 years imprisonment for this offence. This is a definitive conviction. 2. Rudy Guede was definitively convicted of the murder “in complicity with others”. 3. As stated above Knox was present at the scene of the murder, and her boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, probably was as well. 4. Meredith Kercher was attacked by more than one assailant, thus excluding that Rudy Guede was solely responsible for Meredith’s death. 5. A burglary had been staged at the cottage. Why? Who would be responsible for that? The Court drew no inferences and would not allocate the blame for that offence to any of the three accused. 6. There was no finding of fact as to who had inflicted the fatal stab wound. 7. Knox and Sollecito were acquitted on the basis that the evidence against them was insufficient to allocate culpability. 8. It had the option under Italian law to exonerate both Knox and Sollecito but chose the Not Proven verdict instead. Knox is a proven liar. Other than in her "Confession" she has always maintained, and still does to this day, that she was not at the cottage when the murder occurred. However, in addition to her confession there is other evidence that she was there. For example Meredith's DNA on the blade of Sollecito's knife, and his DNA on Meredith's bra clasp beneath Meredith's body. Also Knox's lamp on the floor of Meredith's bedroom behind the locked door. The likelihood of Sollecito being involved, without Knox, is miniscule. Barely mentioned, but highly significant is this other evidence. In her e-mail and trial testimony Knox said there was no blood in the small bathroom when she used it the day before the discovery of the murder. However she also said that during her alleged shower at the cottage the next day, just before the discovery of the murder, she noticed blood on the washbasin faucet that was hardly likely to be hers because of the amount and because it was “caked” on. Well. In fact, it was her blood as DNA analysis was to prove. Blood that must have been deposited, and had time to dry, in the period intervening between the two occasions when she freely admitted to using the bathroom : that is, in the evening or overnight when, according to her she was not there. That was a lie exposed by the science and her own account.

Copy and pasting your nonsense here, too, I see. Do you and Les Grossman do anything else but C&P your crap all over the internet? I'll just paste my reply to this exact same post you C&P'd elsewhere. James Raper is a frequent contributor to a site dedicated to disparaging and promoting the guilt of Knox, TJMK. They publish misleading 'articles' and down right lies. For example: James Raper 1 hour ago This is what the Supreme Court in Italy decided in relation to the three co-accused - "1. Knox, as a witness who was herself present at the scene of the murder, dishonestly and knowingly accused an innocent man, of the murder. She was sentenced to a term of 3 years imprisonment for this offence. This is a definitive conviction." This is misleading and a half-truth. He does not mention which SC of Italy decided this and when. This was not the ACQUITTING SC in 2015, but the Chieffi SC in 2013, the one that annulled her Hellmann court murder acquittal (2011). He also does not mention that her presence at the cottage the night of the murder therefore became a judicial fact whether factually true or not. The 2015 SC that annulled her murder conviction could NOT, under Italian law, find otherwise. "2. Rudy Guede was definitively convicted of the murder “in complicity with others”. " True, but again misleading because this became a judicial fact in 2010 when his conviction was finalized by the Giordano SC, AFTER Knox and Sollecito had been convicted in 2009, but before their acquittal in 2011. That there was more than one person involved in killing Kercher therefore became legally set in stone even though NO forensic evidence of anyone else in her room was found except for Guede and Kercher. "3. As stated above Knox was present at the scene of the murder, and her boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, probably was as well." Again, a judicial fact set in stone in 2013 by the Chieffi SC that the 2015 SC could not, by law, find otherwise. "4. Meredith Kercher was attacked by more than one assailant, thus excluding that Rudy Guede was solely responsible for Meredith’s death" Again, misleading due to the judicial truth (not necessarily factual truth) set by the 2010 Giordano SC. This was BEFORE both the bra clasp and the knife were found to be unreliable as evidence and thrown out. The acquitting courts of Hellmann and the 2015 SC discarded both as evidence. "5. A burglary had been staged at the cottage. Why? Who would be responsible for that? The Court drew no inferences and would not allocate the blame for that offence to any of the three accused." Misleading: that the burglary was staged, once again, became a judicial truth when Guede's conviction was finalized in 2010 by Giordano. Forensic evidence disproves it was staged. "6. There was no finding of fact as to who had inflicted the fatal stab wound." Misleading: that it was not Guede was another 'judicial truth" that became "legal fact" in the 2010 Giordano ruling that could not be changed and was found BEFORE the kitchen knife was discredited as being the murder weapon when Kercher's alleged DNA on it was found to be not supported by any scientific evidence per two independent, court appointed forensic experts in 2011. What the 2015 SC DID find is that it was NOT Knox or Sollecito who inflicted any of the wounds on Kercher. "7. Knox and Sollecito were acquitted on the basis that the evidence against them was insufficient to allocate culpability." True. It's called BARD (Beyond a Reasonable Doubt) which almost all acquittals are based upon. "8. It had the option under Italian law to exonerate both Knox and Sollecito but chose the Not Proven verdict instead." Misleading: it had the option ONLY if it was proved that Knox and Sollecito COULD NOT POSSIBLY have killed Kercher. IOW: this verdict could only be found if they could have proved they were elsewhere at the time of the murder or for another reason that proved it was physically impossible. This verdict is rarely found because if a person has a provable alibi or evidence they could not possibly have committed the crime, it's usually found before any charges are even made. "Happy with that?" It would be better if you provided the information I have above instead of resorting to misleading claims to support your position. But then again, that's the whole point, isn't it?

What is celebrated is being able to take the worst of human bullying, in the internet generation, and to still thrive as a successful, non-bitter, non-mean and bitter, human being. call me naive or optimistic, but I haven’t lost faith in social media as a source for positive change. Like any tool, its impact depends on those who use it. As an institution, it doesn’t need to be defined by the users who bring people down. I believe we may see the day when social media is used, for the most part, as a way to share love.
@betsybabf748
@betsybabf748 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheWchurchill4pm That can only be accomplished when bullying stops becoming normalized, as it has been the past 10 years, and people stop tolerating that behavior. We have children cyberbullied so badly on social media they are taking their lives at younger ages. Parents need to be educated, but that kid's Dad is calling someone names, harassing them on Twitter, their aunt is on Facebook gossiping and bullying the mom in her neighborhood she doesn't like as she hypocritically posts anti-bullying memes, and Mom is posting nasty comments about Amanda Knox and Kim Kardashian on Instagram. That is the reality we have now and the education of societal behavior being set for the younger generation. We see the effects clearly in young adults, which is irrefutable, and the next generation is being taught worse by example. If that behavior doesn't cease to be tolerated across the board, it is naive to ever feel that is not what we are creating as a society sadly.

BUT I still had a trauma response bc 1) no 1 wants to be singled out, 2) she read my very personal thoughts aloud to a room full of college students, some of whom were barely passing or not passing, bc she was a strict professor, so I had a bunch of "brown-noser" & "teacher's pet" kinda hate.
