This song is powerful for me because they played this song at my grandma's funeral (the Josh Groban version). I was young then but I remember it. Then, when my hedgehog Rosie Grace passed away, I played it as well for my own comfort. I am not religious but you do not need to believe in God to feel the power of the song. Now, I am back as I just put my rescue hedgie Sage to sleep. Regardless of the loss, this song always comforts me during a time of loss of someone close to me. The difference now is I love to sing and the Josh Groban version is too deep for my voice. I am here now to listen to a higher version I can use.
