Who designed the owners cabin? Seating for six people beside the bed, now that is weird shit.

I really like this boat, but one thing I'm unsure about is that doorway from the kitchen to the back bedroom. I don't think I would want to trip on that doorway.

I really don't like the design of the table in the middle. I understand it houses a lifting keel, but it would be better if it was designed more like the small Oyster boats. It's the same designer, I wonder why he chose that way in this one.

@@BerthonInternational don't get me wrong the boat is beautiful but in my opinion its time the sailboat world catches up with the motor yachts.

And I will definitely look into that apprenticeship actually. I understand sailboats have a different dynamic when it comes to furniture you just can't have things flopping about with the boat tilting into a tack. I grew up sailing on boats and I just always thought the furniture was very uncomfortable. The backs of most furniture was so stiff and perpendicular instead of relaxed feeling. My dad is an avid lover of the classic look of a sailboat, which I love to, but wouldn't it be nice to lounge inside during a surprise storm? I mean if a Tesla can drive you to work while you're asleep, park itself at the mall, and do a ballet to Carol of the Bells I think it's time we can find a way to have a decent-sized boat that you don't have to share with a crew that you don't know. I would want privacy. If an S class can park itself and you can drive your BMW with your remote control key, I think it's time to incorporate all of that into yachting.

Charles, the little chart desk is brilliant as you can lay charts flat on it. The fiddles on that "big honking table" as you describle it mean that you can't lay your chart flat, which is kind of rubbish.

Isn't the cockpit small. It has claustrophobia written all over it. Nope, sorry I will give this one a miss.
@shananagans55 жыл бұрын
The cockpit is small. It's exactly what you want if you are in rough weather. You don't get tossed around, it feels, and is, more secure. I don't sail much in those conditions if I can help it. lol I agree with you, I use the cockpit as a social center of the boat and bigger is generally better for me.

It’s 42’, there will be space issues. LOL! Or... just buy a bigger boat! 😎

Its a cruiser, not a party boat. Plenty of room to sit with four at the table behind the wheel and a big aft deck to put some deckchairs. You are clearly not a sailor 😎 The only downside I see is the hefty price.
@BertMerlin575 жыл бұрын
Its an optical illusion, its not small its an intimate size in sales language and a great boat over all.
