Bellissimo video oggi 14/01/2025 🇮🇹 sono Piero e nel periodo estivo (1967 --1968) sono stato cittadino di Berwick poiché ho lavorato come waiter al Castle Hotel(with a lot of Nostalgia) i was 17 years old, sono passati circa 57 anni dalla mia presenza in Berwick e non c'è un giorno da allora che io non abbia un pensiero per le persone che ho conosciuto , le passeggiate lungo il fiume Tweed, i miei primi fish and Chips presso Toni Corvi, i milk and coffee daArlequin (fam Rosselli) I primi 45 giri hit del momento comprati dai magazzini Boots, ho quasi 75 anni non so se mai rivedrò personalmente Berwick on Tweed, ma i vs. Video mi faranno compagnia grazie❤🇮🇹❤🥂

This is my home town! I moved away to work when I was 18 but i love to go back. Because of its position it has immense history and character. I am glad you enjoyed and love your documentary . Safe travels :)

@@edf6607 Hiya Ed, Are you old enough to remember the Rum puncheon pub on the corner which was quite smart also the only chip shop on way out "Miranda's" . I never did manage to see the Berwick bandit's speedway at shielfield park but I did many times at meadowbank Edinburgh. There's always something interesting in Berwick although it's in a sad state for many years.

I used to go there regular in the seventies with mates , the red lion in spittal had great disco/ music and being Scottish were mostly welcome by the local. A few friends married local girls, myself unfortunately, the most beautiful girl D.B. i was totally blind in love seriously for first time, but heartbreaking upon discovering she was still seeing and eventually marrying her "ex" boyfriend 😕 met her last year using a dis scooter. We had a wee chat and she is still so smashing I've never ever forgotten her ❤ . A great place and best of people. Try continuing over bridge to tweedmouth. Also the YMCA is superb to stay. As I belong in East Lothian area of Scotland just down from snooty Edinburgh I have some unbelievable very true stories I would like to share with others not connected to the area. I always enjoyed meeting visitors and explaining the unseen places few people get the chance to see . Nowadays everywhere is just a rip-off. niestety była ogromna mgła i do tego bardzo silny wiatr nie dało się polatać, a widoki tu są spektakularne (no może nie aż tak jak na Sri Lance ale zawsze)

Hejka 😊witam cieplutko ,no to dziś mamy spacer po jednym ze Szkockich miast 👍🏼 i tak jak to ma miejsce w Angielskich miastach architektura budynkow jest ludząco podobna ,panuje również cisza i spokój pomomo odglosu przejeżdzajacych gdzieś obok aut (nie przeszkadza to absolutnie )bo poraz kolejny wyłaczam terazniejszosć i przenoszę sie w stecz by podziwiać te piekne domy ,ich kolorystyke i wyobrazać sobie w myslach ich historię i być moze tajemnice jakie kryją ich mury .Spacer jest swoistego rodzaju retrospekcja i wyobrazeniem jak funkcjonowalo to miasto kiedyś i jacy ludzie tu mieszkali ,lubie takie wedrówki w czasie,bowiem dają mi wiele radości i dostarczają wzruszeń i właśnie jest piękne .Ale zawsze będe pisać ,ze to zasługa operatora kamery który jest dla mnie mistrzem spacerów a zarazem jest przewodnikiem moim po swiecie ktorego nie dane było mi poznać .Jestem za to bardzo wdzieczna i bardzo to doceniam i dziękuje .Jarek to bsrdzo ciekawe i piękne miasto ,masto wspolczesne zasymilowane idealne z wielowiekową historią tych Ziem .Oczywiście cały spacer jest bardzo ciekawy ale mnie szczegolnie utkwił w pamieci widok rzeki która cicho i majestatycznie przeplywa przez miasto .Chciało by sie tak stać na nabrzeżu i godzinami wpatrywać w jej nurt słuchając krzyku mew .
