As a different mounting option I has a clipboard style attachment mounted to my yoke so I just used some mounting tape and stuck it right to my yoke. Works great.

I've been using an Octavi for a couple of months now and it definitely needs some sort of bracket. Not only to secure it in place, but also to make it stand in a more vertical plane. I find myself constantly leaning forward to read the button labels on the unit. Looks like a nice bracket, but $36 plus shipping makes a DIY solution a lot more appealing. Thanks for the review.

Huh.... I screwed a flat cold shoe mount on top of my Bravo (fits with the existing screws) and then put a phone holder on top of it to hold the Octavi. Works great, doesnt wobble, only cost me about 20 bucks, its removable so I cna use the Octavi somewhere else and best of all, I didnt have to tinker with the Octavi in ways that may break it or are not reversable. But that mounting plate sure looks nice.

My alpha is mounted on my Next Level FGT and my Bravo is mounted on an ikea end table with castors as I also have my American Truck SIMULATOR/EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR PANEL and CB radio peripherals mounted on the opposite side of the ikea end table So I just swing the table around for either flight simulator or the truck simulators 👍 Stay well eh 👍

I also have my 3 flight instrument panels; radio panel and autopilot panel mounted on top of my Bravo throttle quadrant 👍

I have been looking for my Octavi IFR1 mounting option and bought the EDGE Pro Core which sticks with magnets.

Please be careful with that as you may damage the circuit board of the Octavi due to the magnets…
