Seeing the Bessemer & Lake Erie crossing the viaduct across Fourteen Mile Island parallel to the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Pittsburgh, PA is quite a sight.

Nice work at recording this era of the Bessemer and Lake Erie, Jack. When the power was orange, "blue birds," were a common sight, and when the railroad was not a fallen flag. It's always nice to see footage at MD Middle.

My dad used to call them the bullets because all you seen was the engine then the caboose.i seen one 1 time and that s what I remember also.
