Had the privilege of hearing this live for the first time last night. I can't remember being so spellbound by a song for some time. As Bess told the back story behind the lyrics, I was moved to tears.

@@serinekerouac4724 I don't think I can really explain without it turning into "Chinese whispers". But basically it's about going through a breakup with someone you are also working with. As usual, Bess its not frightened to write deeply personal songs and this is a prime example. If you saw her live on previous tours, you can probably work some of it out from the lyrics.

We really love “Fan Favourite”, but since listening to the whole album, “Crowds” just keeps popping into my head. Stunningly beautiful - such an emotional song.
