this works better because you can throw a potion of infestation and you can spam the iron (if you have iron farm + inf iron) and it won’t stack so you’ll never use more iron than you need too, im on ps4 and i did it for 3 mins and my game was fine, lvl 30+ with one potion

Pro tip: throw a potion of oozing after waiting for all the silverfish to spawn. When you kill then they will each turn into two slime, giving slime balls and way more xp

@7:05 instead of using weapon durability, you can use a Potion of Harming. One Potion would kill all the Silverfishes much faster than swinging a sword

Instead of a fire and golem, just use the potion on yourself and stand on a magma block. Save some iron.

Works in bedrock sept 5, 2024. Only issue I had was not being able to reach the iron golem with the iron ingots to heal it. But that’s pretty easy to fix just find a way to get a little closer like going on top of the farm

Instead of an Iron golem, put a zombie together with 2 or 3 snow golems, they will hurt the zombie, but the zombie wont take dmg, so it will just be an infinite sivelfish spawner, you will have to just worry about potions lol

Doesn't work on xbox one bedrock because you can't throw potion or iron ingots. On xbox one bedrock edition you can only drop things not throw them. Using drop function does not reach iron golem so it never gets splashed with the potion or healed with the iron. going to try setting it up with a dispenser to throw the iron and potion, unless anyone has a better idea

I agree. Like wth is this. Unnecessary waste of iron ingots in repairing the golem. Just use allays and they regenerate themselves or use zombies with snow golems hitting them with snowballs for damage but would never kill the zombie.

Even with an Iron farm (which you have to afk for hours to get a lot) you’re still wasting iron which will make you afk more than you have to, rather than just using a more efficient method like I mentioned before that requires no more resources after the build is complete. And use all that iron towards something more useful.

@@danz9268 no, go out and look for it. If someone has THIS MUCH iron to be able to spawn and heal the golem as much as they want. They clearly have already gone out exploring for a village to get villagers for the iron farm and have gone mining to get the first few stacks of iron. Chances are they already ran into a pillager outpost and could possibly have an allay there. But if you’re too lazy to explore more, wait for the night, lead a zombie to where the golem is positioned (don’t forget to name tag the zombie). Spawn 1 snow golem in each corner of the build surrounding the zombie and they’ll shoot at him without the zombie dying. He’ll take damage and spawn silverfish. No healing needed
