Your channel is great to me for two main reasons: First, you explain not only how to do it, but also why it works the way it does. That way, I really learn something new I can use anytime I'm in the kitchen. Second, I enjoy the way you handle the traditional recipes. You show the proper way first, but then you give a cool and interesting twist to it. Best of both worlds! Also it looks like you guys have a lot of fun. :)

I like to expand my knowledge of other ethnic dishes. You have a fun way of doing it plus you explain how you eat it. Not to mention, many are not too complicated to make. Many other channels, Instagram, TikToc, etc show great pics of the dishes but never explain how you go about serving or eating it. Love your channel!

I am a newly mobility-challenged 77 year old, who was, once a very good cook...My reason for watching and enjoying and saving and learning from your videos, is that I find I Want to eat this food you make: It's all healthy, delicious, and I now use the kind of knife you use, to accommodate my stiff and less functional hands, and chopping as you do, and, it all 'works' for me, and is delicious. Using parsley in just about everything now, as well, and fresh herbs, and have all the spices bought and in use, as you teach us about them. My husband also loves how tasty every dish is, and he's an American food eater from way back. Lentils and bulgar and falafel are becoming more usual to my nutrition, and that's so healthy for me! All my health challenges are auto-immunity related and inflammatory, and your food is healing for that state of physiology, for certain, for me. I really Love the way you include the whole world in your kindness, 'joy', élan, and camaraderie, with your intelligent and friendly team of friends. Thank you for having come along into the lives of so many of us. You give us a lot of hope that, maybe, We, the People, can get along a whole lot better in this difficult world, if we only break bread together with compassion, understanding, and, good humor!

I found your channel at the very beginning of April 2020, when we were in total lockdown here in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and I have just turned to Zoom to continue with my Cooking Classes. I am a Mexican woman coming from a long line of great cooks and that has been my profession for the last 13. I immediately liked you and your recipes, because you used simple, natural ingredients, I was able to see how much you enjoyed what you were doing and it seems to me that you were cooking from your place in a building in front of a port…..and I the same! I live in a condo here in Puerto Vallarta, located right in front of the Marina and I enjoyed so much what I do for a living. So, while I was teaching Mexican online, my husband, our son and I were enjoying the dishes I learned from you, and we all loved them! I am grateful and wish I can cook with you in the future. Most success to you an d your team. Mavi Graf

We became Emeged ourselves in the culture while being separated from our families. Now that I am back home with my husband and kids we still watch you guys. And venture out looking for restaurants to experience the Rifka Turkish Way. Lol Plus we try to cook many of your recipes. Hmm. Why do I love your channel… I think one of my favorite things about your channel is your energy. You’re so positive, and you have a team around you that compliment you and your style so well. Next, I would say is how you make your recipes, and instruction so understandable. You explain why you do each step, and it helps to understand how to make the food turn out well. I love how you love your culture, and how you are willing to share it with all of us. I love how the food tastes. I’ve used your videos and recipes to make some absolutely amazing meals. So I pretty much love everything about your channel. I’m pretty sure I’ve watched every episode on your English channel more than once, and have even watched your Turkish channel, even though I don’t speak Turkish. I’ve gone so far as to try to translate and convert the measurements on your recipes that I’ve seen on your Turkish channel. (If you have those in English I would be ever so grateful to know where I can find them). 😊 oh! And you helped me survive the lockdowns with your positivity. So those are some of the Top reasons I love your channel. Wishing you the best!

Vegan food is, well, food thanks for the recipes! As a plant based eater and cook, I really appreciate it.

My in-laws have made all those delicious dishes. Our children LOVE #6 stuffed artichoke hearts the best. I like #3 the best with pickles turnips. I could eat it everyday. I love your channel because of your enthusiasm, kind words, history of foods and your absolute love of everything you make.

I have a lot of health concerns and I know Mediterranean dishes are healthier since you use a lot of olive oil and other plant based ingredients and spices. I just love Refika's kitchen, the way you explain things; and even your accent! Cheers to a healthier diet! More power to your team...

Hello, Refika and everyone! This afternoon I noticed that something was missing with my KZbin watching. I haven't' watched Refika's Kitchen in too long. So sorry. I love your positive attitude and everyone feels like family. All ten of your vegan recipes looked great. Thank you so very much for all the goodness and happiness you share. Take care! Love y'all. I forgot... Congratulations on your award.

We’ve been busy getting our garden ready. My husband and I are catching up with our Refika’s Kitchen videos. I hope we’re not too late! We love watching your videos together. He places his order and I follow the recipes and cook him foods from his childhood in Turkey and the new and improved Refika recipes. I have learned so much as a cook. For me the ultimate reward is seeing my husband smile after a good meal that makes him feel loved and his culture validated. #❤️Refika’sKitchen

Well to be absolutely honest receiving a knife with Barak's or Refika's names on it would be the highlight of my life. Ever since being diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome in 2004, battling an eating disorder, and going through 5 major open heart surgeries, finding ur channel on youtube was the one good thing that happened to me. My new dream is to come to Istanbul and taste Refika's hammered beef with cheese and Bahar reminds so much of me -I'm also just as hyper as her I mean I would love to meet her and Barak is such a sweetheart. But Refika is the all time bestest chef I've ever seen. Her informative style and natural class are commendable. I love u all.... ❤❤❤

My favorite dish is the artichoke hearts. My grandmother taught me how to peal them and my dad makes them for me.

Love your recipes! 💓💓💓 I’m vegan, but I cook non vegan for my family and friends and I adore Turkish, Middle Eastern and Arab cuisine. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. And you and your team are doing a great job🌺🌻🌸

This is, hands down, the best cooking channel on KZbin. So natural, not scripted, great vibe and delicious recipes. You have recipes for everyone, which is something I admire. I wish you all the best!

See now, THESE are the type of vegan recipes that need to be learned and eaten. Good job for presenting such beautiful and ethnically rich dishes. I live in the Midwest of USA ( 5 hours north of Chicago) and the food scene here is usually basic and almost boring. So, I LOVE watching your channel because you are so sweet, and the food looks AMAZING! Thank you.

Family here, watching again! Drooling and supporting!!!🤩 I love this channel because it is innovative, and unique, real authentic food using a grand flavor scale, cultural and visually appealing... And we all love you and the crew! And you teach the Turkish language.

I adore your channel. I love cooking and enjoy experimenting with things that I'm not familiar with and working to master them. You provide such good instruction as well as inspiration for making something our own. That's what brought me here... what keeps me here is you and your team... Everyone is so sweet, and I can see you are just one big family... I'd love to adopt Bahar!

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you guys and all that you do ! I lived in Turkey (Adana) for three years with my now ex-husband, and I often miss it so much. I still very much consider his family as my own (and him my friend), and cherish that experience... I love that you bring a freshness to classic techniques as well, thank you so very much :)

LOVE watching your channel because I am predominantly vegitarian and that happened later in life (late 50s). I’ve been a great cook my whole life but this is a whole new style of cooking and I am struggling in the creativity department. I get so many ideas from you for meatless foods. Thank you thank you thank you!
