I love your channel. Yes I have been to Turkey and I must say it's a phenominal country, well balanced with beautiful people who are very proud of their heritage. People, easy to communicate with that have time for others, where the true human element is very important. Your channel is very inspiring and I have prepared many of your dishes with great success. Your channel is my go to when I have to make a quick plan for dinner. You have a very relaxed nature and I love how you interact with your entire team bringing them into the conversation. I can see that each member feels appreciated and will bring the best to their workplace with that very motivated attitude of yours. I love your english, it is remarkable as well as entertaining, it brings a spark to each episode that would have been difficuilt to achieve was it not for your enthusiastic, positive, boundless zest for life. May you and your team achieve all your goals and be blessed!!

Hi refika & team! Greetings from Sri Lanka. I’ve been watching your channel since the pandemic started for us in 2020, and I’ve loved LOVED all your videos. I’ve noticed certain similarities between your cuisine and some of our cuisine (especially the food of the Muslims in our country). I love your techniques and your chicken doner recipe we use as a staple at home. I love the way you edit the videos, and I love when bahar and burak make appearances… in fact I love how loving you all seem towards each other which makes the energy in your videos so lovely. I’ve been telling my husband I can’t wait to one day visit you and try your hammered beef dish if I ever do get the chance to meet you! Turkey looks amazing!! At the moment things in Sri Lanka are not so great as we are going through a political and economic crisis but every time I see a video of yours I just escape into the world of your warm cozy kitchen! Congratulations on your KZbin milestone and much love all the way from SL. ❤️❤️❤️ I’ve commented before but never got a response, hope you see this and give me a thumbs up!

The channel is so good because of several reasons, firstly the food is always amazing and for me reminds me of some food made by my Maltese grandparents. Secondly its the you and the crew you work with, everyone always looks like they are having fun, and how you include them in the show, you talk to them, they come into view, they participate in the cooking and are very engaging, its your show but you share the limelight with the others, and you encourage them to be part of your family. Congratulations on reaching 500,000, you will be at a million soon, i wake every Sunday looking forward to seeing what you will be doing next.

Congratulations on reaching 500,000 subscribers, Refika & team! Thank you so much for all these vegan recipes, as well! My household is lacto-ovo, but trying to eat vegan, as often as we can, so I really appreciate it. Why do I love your channel? Because you present excellent recipes in an engaging, entertaining manner, and your videos are high quality even while you remain completely genuine. By the way, sour, green plums are called greengage, in English (and, nobody asked, but they're gojeh in farsi, which might have something to do with the etymology of the English name, as the plums originate in Iran), and I agree, they're magic.

It is YOUR recipes that have convinced me, I've been cooking them for a while. This weekend we made a lovely Turkish breakfast/brunch of your hummus (delicious), your felafel (best I've ever had, including the cinnamon and clove), simit (SO pleased to make it, we loved it in Istanbul and missed it) plus plenty of veg and of course yoghurt. #ILoveRafika'sKitchen because I am learning to cook regional dishes for my new (Arab) husband. He is currently in Turkey because Covid restrictions have seriously prolonged visa processing. During a recent visit I made him one of your eggplant dishes and he was astonished, he absolutely loved it. Also, I love the channel because of everyone's humor and energy, as well as Rafika's detail-orient and professionalism, which motivates me to keep learning Turkish/regional dishes. Your videos always leave me in a good mood. I want to have an herb garden like yours outside, and I was so impressed when you showed your chef knife design in one of your videos! I would love one for my husband; he absolutely loves Istanbul, and has taken me all over Taksim and Fatih. It'd be lovely for him to bring a piece of Istanbul with him and it'd serve as the perfect memento for our mini-food tours and adventures around the city.

Moving my farm and livestock rescue across the country this week, need good energy I’m exhausted. Soon as I get to my new house I’m ordering your great goodies from Etsy. I've found you thanks to my interest in Turkish culture including cinema. I decided to cook something Turkish. I was familiar with the cuisine of the Middle East, but I had no idea about Turkish cuisine. It seemed very meaty to me. I am a vegetarian, so I started to look for recipes on the Internet and found Refika's Kitchen. Thanks for the many vegan recipes. I've been watching for over a year all the videos. I started with a great Turkish breakfast. I really like your last idea of going to local restaurants and how you show what and how to eat :) it's very tasty. I'm passing on your videos to my friends as they try something at my place and they like it. They all say afterwards that you make a very positive impression and have good energy.

I love your channel because I am a vegetarian foodie, I love Turkish food (have been to Turkey, Istanbul only unfortunately), gained 2 kilos in a week eating non-stop. I make Imam Bayildi and hummus often, I love falafel but haven't made it in a long time. Your channel is really inspiring also because you do it with so much love, passion and enthusiasm! Btw, I am Indonesian, brought up in Europe so love many different cuisines, but Turkish is definitely one of my favourites. I will try out your recipes one by one and build up my Turkish cuisine repertoire. Oh ya, I am friends with the Turkish ambassador to Indonesia. I also like the stories behind your recipes and the country scenery! #iloverefikaskithen. Much love from Canada!

Congratulations, Refika and Co. on 500K subscribers! I love Turkish cuisine, but where I live one can only get Doener Kebap. I particularly enjoy the enthusiasm that you and the crew bring to your episodes. I wish you a quick trip to 1,000,000 subscribers.

Why I love your channel: fun, easy & energetic recipes that give you big variaty of meals and also a lot cultural background as well as tips and tricks straight from the family (like the ones your mom and grandma only shares with you)... so to sum up: mainly a lot of LOVE ❤️ very informative and entertaining 😉 The other deeper reason is that I lived in Turkey for 1 year and it is the best memory from my life - it really feels like 2nd home for me (or even 1st!) From that time I fell in love with Turkish food and I try to prepare some meals from time to time - they always bring a lot of warmth and joy to life! #iloverefikaskitchen 😊

Refika and Team, Congratulations for reaching 500 K subscribers! Well deserved! I love your channel from the bottom of my hart! Because of your spirit that lifts me up! Because of the delicious recipes! Hummus is our new family favorite (Ottolenghi's was the previous one), Chi burek is kids best-loved breakfast, the fish with cauliflower rice is incredible, bulgur pilaf beacme one of our staples as well (it deserves to be in top 10 vegan recipes), the Bride soup and Menemen are my personal favorites. . I am definitely making Fava very soon and the kofte from the previous episod. Thank you! I Love you!

Congrats on the 500k! I first "met" Refika from I show on a TV channel called 24Kitchen some years ago, that was the first time I tried her recipes. One day I wanted to cook one of the dishes she showed there and that's how I discovered her youtube channel! I am really glad she and her team made their work accessable to the international audiance! I am glad I've been following this channel since it's beginning pretty much🥳. I haven't been dissapointed by her recipes, videos and tips and tricks (I've tried quite many of them 🤭), I am saying this because of all the dishes I was sceptical about at first glance, but turned out very tasty and now are proud part of my recipe notebook! Great energy, great spirit, it's obvious that they love what they do, aaand if you cannot go to Turkey, they will bring Turkey to you!

Congratulations for 500K subscribers! I follow your channel for almost two years now an d I love it. You an d the team are so heartwarming people. It is a big pleasure to watch every new video. The ecipies are really delicious.. For me as a vegan sound even the meat dishes very tasty to me. I kind of adapted the meat dishes to vegan substitutes or mushrooms. It probably does not achieve the identical tase, but they are really delicious for me. Keep your energy and the fun whlie cooking and I am sure you will hit the million subscribers. Thank you for all those fanatastic recipies!

I love your channel…you, the people working (playing) with you and the food recipes. I am able to use veggies from my garden in different combinations with different herbs that are truly exciting. Turkish cuisine is awesome and never would have known without Refika’s Kitchen. The presentation of history you supply is shining but the food makes me want to come and eat my way through your country…keep smiling…

I have a lot of health concerns and I know Mediterranean dishes are healthier since you use a lot of olive oil and other plant based ingredients and spices. I just love Refika's kitchen, the way you explain things; and even your accent! Cheers to a healthier diet! More power to your team...

Hi Refika’s and Co. Well Done for your milestone. I love your channel for various reasons. 1. I am not Turkish but Maltese but have been to Turkey several times because I have friends living there and been to several places all over and tasted so many regional dishes. With the help of my friends I be learnt how to do acma, Turkish breakfast and tea, chicken Kapama and kofte but through your channel I have learnt way more recipes which I refer to from time to time when I wish to taste again a bit of turkey or have Turkish friends over from turkey and want to impress them on how good I have become in serving their own cuisine 😊 I find your channel interesting and informative because you don’t only give out the recipe and make its quite easy for us non Turkish to understand and follow but you also give a historical and geographical insight of how and from where the dish originated hence making it more interesting and informative for me to watch since I love history.

I love you and all the people (and dog) on this channel. You have brightened some very dark days for me. I learn so much from you. I even was able to share one of your videos (the pumpkin pie) with my classes when we were online during the worst of the pandemic. I teach sociology but used your video as a way for students to engage with checking in (attendance). The students loved your video and few made the pie!
