Paul Scholes is the greatest midfielder to ever play the game. There is another fantastic video on youtube with top players all saying saying same thing, Scholes is the best. I think the closest to him would be Iniesta but Scholes is in a class of his own. Gascoigne could have been the best in the world but we will never know how good he could have been.
