I can say the most reliable engine here is the Gixxer's. I have a BS3 version. It is smooth till now after 8.5 years and giving me a mileage of 49-51km/l till now. It's peppy and efficient at the same time. Its parts are cheaper than Yamaha and service cost is less. I will choose Gixxer again any day without any doubt.

I'd say the most reliable is the fz.......9 years, everyday ride of 90 kms......146518 km till today......same power, same pickup.....same 52+ mileage......never failed me......only tyres and chainsets being changed......and occasionally clutch and race cables and that too after 3-4 years of regular use

​@@gauravjanjua133well fzsv2 is the best and v3 was a downgrade both in power and looks and v4 is even more downgrade ..so right now fz is selling just because there is no family bike with decent looks and good engine except unicorn . Most of the youngsters like me don't like looks of unicorn thats why fzsv4 is in my list. Otherwise its a overpriced less powerful bike. If honda relaunch its 150-160 cc bikes like hornet160r and cbr 150 then yahama 's market shere will decrease drastically

Gixxer will make anyone cry once you cross 50-60k kms mark. Spares are more than 2 times that of any motorcycle. My close had Gixxer and it was everytime problem

In your comparison Gixxer is least fuel efficiency but in real world I get 50 kmpl in Gixxer and it gives 46.5 kmpl in my Leh Ladakh trip. In which Manny km are covered in 1st and 2nd gear.

Where is Honda SP160 🤔 ? I know Dhanil you hated it (we all did when it was launched) but it is there anyway in market so you must review it. Infact that bike should have been in this comparison review 😅. Please do a Japanese 150cc sports commuters comparison review with it . And yes please do 1 review on Honda Hornet 2.0 E20 and Hero xtreme 160r 4v as they are almost in same price range now.

Don’t purchase extreme 160R. Suspension is too hard. I wish it to sell my extreme because of it. Newly for few months I don’t pay attention but in long terms will damage body.

Excellent Comparison.. U have helped me immensely in deciding the bike suitable for me. You have also cleared my dilemma which was the seat height of FZS. Although it is 790 mm, I couldn’t reach the ground as comfortably as to build enough confidence, even with a height of 5.4 ft. Now I know the reason. Thanks.

How's the engine refinement on the Apache coz TVS engines are generally buzzy compared to like Bajaj & Yamaha. The FZ is solely focused on city commuting IMO hence it has the lowest horsepower & torque compared to the Apache & the Gixxer. The Gixxer is a bit sporty & is dynamically sound & the Apache is a balanced bike. Overall, good comparo! Loved it!❤
