See this is perfect for me. I don’t care about RGB ram or fans necessarily. But I want my entire case and behind my monitor to kind of be sync’d together. This is super cheap too. Also no software, just all from a remote.

Nevermind, these are amazing compared to my USB ones, the USB one is about 5w per metre (SMD5050) these are 12w per metre! I know what I'm buying to light up my desk!

How bright are they? I got USB one and it's not that bright, that's for 2m worth anyway, tops out at around 2A so I can't blame them for not driving it high enough. I'm guessing these are brighter

Yes but you either need to piggy back to the other strip thats connected to the controller or buy another controller.

Joe Steiger I've found that as long as it's pointed in the general direction, it isn't a problem at all; just make sure that when you set it up it there isn't anything directly between you and the receiver. I put my receiver on the underside of the desk instead of directly behind it and I can just point my remote under the desk. Thanks for watching Joe!

The farther the desk is from the wall, the more spread out the light is so it really comes down to personal preference. Personally, my desk is about 4" from the wall and for me I find it creates a nice effect.
