Best 18650 Flashlight? Olight Warrior Mini 3 & Buyers Guide (Get MAX Value)

Bought the Warrior Mini 3 to replace a Fenix LD30 because I never liked it's green tint. The WM3 is essentially the same size and marginally heavier, but has better light quality, eliminates green tint and can be turned on/off with the tail switch or the side button. Love it!

Ive had the 'Olight imini 2' for a few weeks now, and ya just givin me it's new purpose in my daily life! I have had it for a few weeks now and absolutly love it but ya just presented me with a new use for it. Thanks man! this is pretty sweet if you ask me!

You just blew my mind with that Perun 2 Mini strap trick. I'm going to have to try that with mine. I seem to remember Olight mentioned somewhere that they're going to be selling the headband separate at some point. Proximity sensors are great, but still practice proper safety. Turn off your light or turn it low if it's unattended or temporarily stowed. Not saying don't trust the proximity sensor, treat it as another line of safety. DO NOT BURN A HOLE IN YOUR POLYESTER PJs like I did with a Baton 3 Pro Purple that for some reason didn't have a proximity sensor. The other Baton 3 Pros at the time did. There was not a disclaimer saying the Purple edition didn't have one but I am still a dingus, put it in my pocket while opening my mailbox and it took no time at all! Thankfully the only injury I suffered was my pride, when I contacted Olight they helped me out and sent some goodies and it made my day. I might consider wearing cotton PJs from now on, polyester just wants to burn. Don't be a dingus, if I had respected the flashlight I would have that pair of PJs still. Yet again maybe it pays to be a dingus? I did get goodies from Olight worth more than my PJs. Is it possible that they wanted to avoid a settlement over my slightly burned PJs/leg? Doubt it, it's more likely that they wanted to spare me the embarrassment of my epic dingus moment. If you managed to read through all of this, I'm sorry lol. Hopefully my idiotic story will serve as a warning and be helpful in some way. Even if it's just to laugh at me. For real though, Olight has your back, especially if you are a massive dingus like me. I feel so special :)

I was really tempted to pick up the WM3, but I'm holding off until a Desert Tan version comes out to match my other WMs. :) Btw: Never had an issue with the sensor on my WM2. I *think* the OPen 2 and mini can use the SCHMIDT Mini 8126 ink refill.

Olight sells the perun mini 2 headstrap separately, I've only seen it in orange and one other colour on their website

Perun mini 2 is my favorite olight. I use it in moonlight mode mostly. My only gripe is the red mode is a little bright

I picked up the Perun 2, and imini2 for $50, with gift light. I then bought i3t on Amazon (had credit) for $16. It was like buy 4 for the price of one and I'm really pleased with what I got! I'm considering putting a rechargeable Lithium ion battery in the i3t AAA spot. I've heard olight doesn't recommend this, can anyone explain why and what the risk of doing so is?

For a "tactical" defense light turbo/strobe would make more sense instead of medium strobe. Olight had the turbo /strobe setting all the years I dont know why they changed this.

They didn't, it has 2 different tail switch setups. You hold press the side button to switch to momentary turbo/Strobe

Olight has a reputation of giving reviewers free stuff if they pimp their products (?). This has turned me off regarding their lights even though many of my favorite reviewers (Sensible Prepper, Nutenfancy, etc.) have sold out to Olight. Am I wrong?

I was a yellow diamond member even before getting products. I still tell them I won't review things I don't like. The last pen design, and gober for instance I didn't like. As long as I can be honest in my reviews I'm happy to promote things I personally like.
