For the 20% reduced damage from Heavenly Strength, that was added in the same patch they buffed 2 handed weapons. They wanted to keep the strength of 2h roughly the same for Saders to keep them from overshadowing 1 handed options since they cannot duel wield, it was still an overall buff of roughly 2% though.

Hey bro. I was wondering if you've ever made more starter build videos for other chars, since I can only find monk and crusader. Be good to have a baseline farming build for all classes. Keep up the good work and GL for season 4 ;)

Two things: First, it would be helpful to include info on Paragon point expenditure priorities. Second, while you mentioned the Jekangbord shield, which is undoubtedly Best in Slot for this build, you should also mention the Gyrefalcon's Foote legendary flail as well, since its secondary ability "Removes the resource cost of Blessed Shield" is absolutely prime for this build.

wow that s gooood. So i tried this build, I absolutely love it for the record! except the captain america shield bash, in comparison to the fist of heaven-fissure wrath dump it just doesn't seem like it does as much damage, am i missing something? Just because like in the video, the 1% healing is negligible, thoughts? I also had to switch out akarats for iron skin just becuase, personally, trying to do my thing with akarats i died a bunch of times, nullifying that 90sec cd most of the time...

Out of curiosity, why do you recommend the ias rune for akarat's champ? Also, I can imagine reaper's wraps would be a pretty good choice for this build. Haven't played the game for a while, so are they harder to get now than they were at ros launch? if not, probably worth picking up a pair.

i just used this build and i got frydehr's wraith ( shield ) which makes condemn have no cooldown but cost wraith and a blade of prophecy which makes condemned enemies pass on the explosion. its pretty funny when you use the rune that makes condemn explode instantly ^^

its insane with the smite gem, triggers 100 percent of the time with 60 to 100 mil crits.

I'm considering Crusader for Season 2, as it is the class i've played the least. But most of the videos i've seen of Crusader grifting has really put me off as they seem (extra) hectic and not too fun. Might give it a shot though.

Would it be better to farm shards with another class ,or go with the crusader in t4 in order to get the set ?

Farming shards is good if you have another character that can do t6 super fast you can keep doing rank 25 grifts and finish them within minutes to get tons of blood shards another one is also blood shard goblins, also one of the most efficient ways is to get another 3 people that are crusader to farm t6 rifts with you.

Hey Rhykker, I'd like to try this build out but I play on a console (PS3). You have slots for both Heaven's Fury AND Akarat's Champion. On my ps3 version, there is only one slot for a Conviction move, other slot is replaced by Laws. Is this build only possible for PC versions?

Im not sure if you can do this on console or if Im even on the same page as you but, pause your game and go to gameplay settings and then uncheck elective mode and you should be able to choose mulitple skills from the same group

+soltar7 Have fun with it! For your first playthrough, just experience the game :) Beat the campaign, then unlock adventure mode - that's where you'll finish your leveling. The real game starts at level 70.

gearing in D3: 1) join a T6 game with your fav class 2) wait until the (Rift/Bounty) is complete 3) receive epic Lewts without actually playing the game... sad but true until you arrive at a Gear Tier that is viable in T6 and/or have enough paragon points to keep up

You need to turn on Elective Mode in your Gameplay options, it'll let you put skills wherever you want then.

I'm an idiot. Turns out there is an option called Elective Mode in Options -> Gameplay that let's you pick whatever type of skill you want in each slot. Rhykker's video "4 simple options all players should know about" goes over it. I just hadn't watched it yet!

If you go into your settings, there's one called elective mode. Turning this on will allow you to put any skill in any slot.

JonasTheGreatDane the blessed shield honestly sucks in my opinion, i switched that out to hammer however I have quite a bit of hammer buffing gear including the 85% cost reduction bracers so thats a plus. also the ray ability is pretty meh too falling sword seemed better.

Blessed shield, imo, isnt that good of a starter skill. damage sucks when compared to the wrath it costs. Fist is much better. and no, you don't have to have akkhan to do firestarter. captain+bjorn+devastator will do just fine as a start.then you shard for a sader shield with cdr and a leoric crown

I don't jnderstand these builds. People must be cheating. Why don't you have Laws and you have BOTH Akarat's Champion and Heaven's Fury!? That isn't possible. It's not an option in the game. I saw another build that had the same thing going on. Illegitimate abilities in areas they're not supposed to be in.

This is NOT a starter build, it's a maybe or alternate build. LOL - "Starter Build". A starter build should start at level 1 shouldn't it? As that is the "Start" or beginning point. Not at level 70 which is a third of the way through D3! You know, what skills to use at levels 1-70 while actually leveling, thats a starter guide/build. Nice build by the way despite it being a lvl 70 build and not a lvl 1 build lol.
