Hello. My friend and I want to start a podcast, but we don't have a lot of knowledge about the subject. However, we really want to do it as it is an event we've been wanting to do for a while. What kind of microphone should we choose for a beginner level? Do we have to choose a model with an XLR input? Or will the quality of our recordings increase "wow" significantly compared to USB models? Our budget is a maximum of $500. If you have any models or setups you can recommend, I would be very happy. How do you get power to the microphone using just the xlr cable? I have a goxlr as well and i cant get them to work in sync without using usb cable
