Best 2022 Road Races + My Next Marathon

Everytime I tell myself I’m having a break from races I realise by the end of the next month I still ended up doing one pretty much every weekend lol😂 I’m pretty addicted to it! But I absolutely love it so it’s ok. It could be a much worse addiction. It keeps my mental health on track. It also keeps my weight on track. I used to be 21 stone now I’m in shape at 14 stone. So it’s improved my life no end. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I can’t wait for next year I already have 4 races booked one of them is The London marathon 👍👍👍

GNR 2022 was my first race/first half ever and you’re right the atmosphere was immense! Alton Towers and Amsterdam added to my list! Love your videos, good luck with the MCR training plan 👍🏻

Great to hear that you're also doing Manchester! I'll keep an eye on GNR for this year, too... Liking the "Talking Head" video. Maybe there will be more opportunities for these kinds of videos in the future? Could be good for long-term shoe reviews/countdowns (Top 5s), kit recommendations, or general running tips like training to get a higher cadence as an amateur upwards (something I'm trying to focus on). Or just stick to the running vids! It's all good stuff. Cheers for making this! - Mack

Like yourself I have been lucky to have run the GNR. I can only compare the atmosphere to London, New York (marathon) and Royal Parks half marathon. I would put this race up there with the best races. Why AYE man. Enjoy the rest and recovery 🎉

Great Top 5. I’m in Manchester next year as well. Given I didn’t get into Berlin contemplating either Amsterdam or Valencia for Autumn Marathon

Thanks LC, got a few planned already which is good. I normally follow them all on Instagram and then follow their link in the bio for the official pathway. Sometimes you have no choice to use a booking partner like let's Do this. Runthrough put on some brilliant events up and down the country!
