Correction: GDevelop does not cost $200 a year but rather $80 😂. I still don’t like subscriptions either way. Also to let you know. Many of the games you see were not mine in the HyperPad and GDevelop section I got them from the Hub (HyperPad) and just example projects (GDevelop). Wanted to show the best of the engines. Hope this video was a little helpful.

Thanks for featuring hyperPad in your video! We appreciate your feedback! As you mentioned, functions are coming in an update soon. And we're working on shaders as well. HyperPad is available for iPad, and works flawlessly on Apple Silicon Macs. As for your concern about tutorials being kids focused, we've tried making both styles of video tutorials and found that this style gets greater engagement. That being said, we do have more "serious" style tutorials, as well as written tutorials as well. We'll keep this in mind for future videos though.

@@hyperPad Wow thank you for watching my video. Wish you guys the very best. Love your app. I do wonder how would shaders works. Would it be glsl or something different?

@@CodeaDeveloper Our absolute pleasure ~ and thank you for your kind words. We already have some shaders supported built in, that you can use and stack. These are things like bloom, blur, pixelate etc. And you can combine and stack these to make unique things. In the future we may add a shader editor and something like glsl. Stay tuned for those updates 😆
