how was heating quality in crown of india? It was perfect no issues, we stayed in their last room so there was an AC which we turned on to a comfortable temperature. This was better than heater and all 3 houseboats provide free shikara shuttle to the land for multiple times in a day? Yes

I guess it's on ghat no. 8, but if you are looking for better views, opt for a houseboat in the open lake that is houseboats from ghat no. 12 onwards...

We were there in the first week of March 2022. Will recommend you to take experience of staying in houseboat at dal lake. It's a very different experience

How kashmir is in june while travelling with small kids... Is it safe or not??

Will be mild hot in Srinagar and cold in high altitude like gulmarg and Sonamarg. Less probability of snow. Best place to visit in June will be Pahalgam. We went from Mumbai, tourist areas in kashmir are safer than cities like Mumbai etc
