You can clearly see he's paying attention to the play and not the stick on the ice. If your goalie didn't drop it cos he's trash it wouldn't have happened. He wouldn't have been able to grab it where it was anyway. Good play, no penalty. Rags lose.

I’m a Canes fan and even I am on the fence as to whether it was a high stick, I have seen an angle that shows it’s below his shoulder but the two other angle make it look like the stick was over his shoulder (crossbar has no bearing here)
