I have an R-Max 4 seater. This machine can do everything and go through everything. I love this machine. I took it on one of the gnarliest trails on my property and it got through with no problem at all. I have problems getting through with my Four-wheelers, but it was nothing with the R-Max

For $25g’s it’d be nice if it came with a conversion to remove the seats and add a “bucket” for hauling loose materials. But it is sold as a “sport-utility” so there will be compromises for fun over function.

3:10 True.... But with a piece of OSB & some framing you could build a wooded bed insert & then hauling gravel wouldn't be an issue. Still not as much legroom as my X3 Max though... im stickin with what I got

Pretty much any UTV I have sat in, the roll bar or guard by my left arm is to close to me. My neighbor has a Polaris XP 1000, 2 bolts to take that bar either off or heat it up with my torch and bend it out more. That is a big concern for me, don`t need a guard gouging me all day. I don`t have SxS yet but do have a 21 Brute Force. Great Video!

What's a hydroline? Is that a river? Sorry I'm from Reno Nevada. Awesome review btw

It's an overhead powerline. Installers would have built a road under it to install/maintain it. Usually makes for good trails across the province.

Hey Truck King! Yet another great video. Try to get your hands on a Viking VI EPS. I would love to see your review of that machine. It’s got room for 6 people and their cargo. Great for getting into the hunt camp! The price point of the Viking is much more affordable as well. Thanks.
@michaelbury19413 жыл бұрын
That machine is so old and outdated it won’t generate interest. It’s minutes away from a redesign. If you want a 6 seater for the hunt camp go with a Mule FXT and see what they do to them in the FB groups.

How does it compare to the Honda Pioneer 1000-5? Mostly interested in the cab noise differences. Test drove a 2 seat RMAX and the family found it to be loud at 30 to 40 km/hr cruising speeds. Would the pioneer be the quieter? Thanks and keep up the videos.

Truck king, would you buy the rmax or 850 x4? I'm looking to buy one of them but don't know if it's worth it to go for the rmax right from the get go.
@jimh.4122 жыл бұрын
I have the 850 X2. It's a great machine. A little underpowered especially compared to the R-max but to bump up to the R-max is an additional $6000-9000 difference depending on what model you get. If you have the money probably get the R-max but the X4 will do pretty much everything the R-max can with just less power but you'll have a lot more money left in your pocket.
@MassiveOverkill2 жыл бұрын
Get the RMAX4. As a former X4 owner, NO, the X4 will not do everything the RMAX4 can do. You can throw all the money you want into an X4 and it will never be as capable as an RMAX4. X4 is still a great machine but you will find the X4's limits. The RMAX4 will find your limits.

I wouldn't buy a four seater - don't have that many friends.
This is better, but not exactly what i want. You have this all wrong. This is a 2 person, worry free capable of 4. Shush 🤫 we will have a drop in bed liner, when you take the seats out to haul your dirt. If you haul dirt get a pickup. Anything over 500cc lose the snowmobile transmission. I want worry free Tractor envious Tree dragging gears with a low range axle snapping type of speed in 1st gear, then normal starts in 2nd and so on. CVT means, Crazy in mechanic

Idk for 25k im not sure how this is anywhere near as nice as a pro xp
@rebeccaeddy70783 жыл бұрын
how much can a pro xp tow, or haul or how much cargo room does it have, eclipsed totally by the rmax, because yet again your comparing two different machines
@MrYaxalot3 жыл бұрын
@@rebeccaeddy7078 The back seat of the pro xp folds down to a cargo area bigger than the rmax half bed rear seat ordeal. It has almost 100 more hp infinetly more suspension and I'm sure it's capable of towing the 1500 or 2000 pounds the rmax is rated for. My buddy has towed more with his 1000xp and I move my 20ft trailer in the yard with my 21 turbo s. It's not like the rmax is a ranger or a defender. But for 25k it's not even in the same zip code as a pro xp.

Does your pro xp have a 10 year cvt belt warranty 🤣🤣 you will spend another 25gs on belts in that amount of time with a piece of shit xp pro.
@MrYaxalot3 жыл бұрын
@@CB-zf2zr I put over 2500 miles on my rs1 before I changed the belt and I only changed it as a preventative measure. I have 1500 miles on my turbo s already no issues. 25gs for this rmax is a rip off.

$22000 for an open-air noisy, not street legal thingy. My 1957 VW Baja bug will do 85 mph. All season, smaller, lighter, air cooled, no computers or chips, quiet, comfortable, heated, sleeps 2, kitchen in back, dvd player, stereo etc. All for only $8000 and $2500 of that was for paint. I dint see the Yamaha do anything the Baja couldnt do although I'm sure it would.
