Question: Is the battery connector (xt60 with female traxxas adapter) compatible with the maxx or did you need to modify or use an adapter? Edit: I see now that it works with the stock connectors, thanks and disregard!

Can I charge this battery on a traxxas EZ-peak dual charger?

@@grc9793 Yes. You would need to link your phone to the charger using the app, pop the balance cover off and plug the battery in the 4s port along with the main charge plug. Select the mah rating of the battery on the app. I recommend setting the charge amp rating to 5.2A (1C) however the battery does state that you can charge at a 2C rate (10.4A - Not recommeded). The only thing I don't like about this battery is it gets very hot when bashing in my MAXX. It gets way hotter than the traxxas 5000mah 25C Sustained / 50C burst battery. I am questioning the 50C Sustained with 100C burst on these powerhobby batteries.

I used Traxxas battery 5000 milliamp 50 burst 25 C rating with a hobbywing max10 for ESC stock motor clocked at 57 miles an hour on stock gearing

I don't use traxxas batteries due to the 25C rating, you can buy 50C or even 100C packs for less money and they have more punch.

Definitely much quicker than the Xmaxx as it should be. Wouldn't expect it to handle like a Truggy or buggy with high centre of gravity, short wheelbase. Could always Widen it, like Truggy. Battery performance looks great 💪 👊

They look very much like the same one!!! Indeed I've run them as a pair to get 6S! I'd not be able to tell the two apart in performance terms. I am warming to the power hobby stuff though as they ship across country very fast

I have the X-Maxx. I can't seem to find the answer to my question. Can I use the 4S 6700 lipo cells from my X-Maxx in the MAXX?....or are they too large to fit? I know I cannot use them in series but one at a time maybe?

Ryan you'd need to check the Maxx battery sizes on the traxxas website (That's all I would do to answer this fully). If they are of a suitable size then the answer would be a yes

Hi there, wish to check has anyone had problem with the Maxx auto turning off by itself without reasons? I was running the car for less than 5-10mins, and all of a sudden the car just got cutoff by itself. I then restarted the car, and the same thing happen. And it couldn’t turn-On after that. Strangely, after 30mins, it resume running. Any major issues?

i had that happen with one of my slashes it has something to do with setting up the esc and setting it into lipo mode or NMHD mode
