No..you can connect through optical cable for output 5.1 surrounding effect.if sound format is streo,5 satelite speaker can work a perticularly same frequency of sound level.sound produce properly with best clearity.but tower speaker me tweeter with full range speaker combination produce best clearity in one direction.

Dav tz 145 has dolby digital decoader and also dvd player. In that you will get better surround effect. Crystal clear sound with good bass effect. Best for movies and all. Good for music. F&d is great for music. But not that good for movies. F&d is loud but Sony is not that loud but no distortion. Hope this will help you to choose the right one for you. Good luck.

What about sound experience while watching movies.....coz many times I have seen this problem of sound where it lose vocals and increases the music at that time we have manually lower the volume. I have seen this problem in costly home theaters of philips,Sony which ruins the movie watching...a home theater should balance the sound with vocals as Logitech Z906 is seems to be producing as per many reviews I have seen.Logitech Z906 is costly that's why I wanted to know about its sound level maintenance between vacals and music does it normalize the sound or not on high notes or when fight scenes come
