Great video! I have an office with no fiber options, and we’re relying on 5G for internet. We have up to 50 devices across the office, which spans an entire floor with 11 rooms. I’m looking for a 5G router that can provide fast and reliable speeds and also plan to set up a mesh system to evenly distribute the signal throughout the space. What do you suggest for a setup like this?

You might want to speak to a B2B 5G solutions provider like bOnline, or Three/EE/Vodafone also offer these types of products. You could consider getting multiple routers potentially, if you don't mind having multiple WiFi networks up and running. You'd probably be looking at top of the line routers like the GL.iNet GL-X3000 we looked at in this video.

Which router do you recommend for gaming on 5G if you're getting like -67 DB signal and 30 SINR in your area?

Your signal is pretty good, so you should be fine with the ZTE MC888 - no need for lots of antennas, although you might get very slightly faster speeds with it.

​@@broadbandsavvy I had ZTE MC888D (the one with 12db high gain internal antenna) but i was getting disconnected randomly on Steam (goes offline randomly) despite band locking, i'm not sure if its a NAT issue though

@@TrueRaps If there were no issues on any other platforms it could be NAT or something specific to Steam or the game you were playing, hard to say whether a new router would help with that. Probably not if your signal is as good as the numbers suggest.

im moving in to a house with 5 other gamers for just one year. could we buy the mc888 and a 12 month 5g sim card off of amazon. would that be enough. would we also need ethernet cables and an ethernet switch?

Depends on the 5G signal and the types of games you're playing - ping sensitive shooters it's not great for, EASFC and that sort of thing would be better. Also depends whether you're always downloading large games/updates. For six people honestly 300 Mbps+ fibre might be better, Hyperoptic and Virgin offer month to month contracts although it's more expensive. You could try the MC888, if you do, Ethernet would be best if mostly gaming on consoles/PC.

Three upgraded my Zykel hub with a ZTE MC888 router. The ZTE is far superior to the Zykel. 5g broadband isn't much good for gaming to to lag.

We play games fine on 5G, ping is pretty stable at around 30-40ms.
