Where I grew up, it was nicknamed "Little Saigon." We had food like this everywhere; it was awesome, and every Tet festival, my neighbors would give us Banh Tet with the pork in the middle. My Asian friends say I'm white on the outside but yellow on the inside. Also, if you ever get the chance to try the congealed pork's blood, it sounds foul but it's really good in things like pho.

It's not typical vietnamese. I went there in 2001, it was completly différent! They used really a few of oil, i think much of what you see here is for tourists. In 2001 vietnamese food was really sane, healthy
