The Runcam Thumb 2 in my opinion is the best camera that Runcam released so far.
The image quality is far superior than the previous Thumb cameras and it seems to be in par with the Insta360 GO 2 (a Side By Side comparison video will be up soon).
The Thumb 2 is lighter and cheaper than naked GoPro cameras so it can be good alternative in many cases. On the downside the low light performance of the Thumb 2 is not great and it can only be operated when connected to a power bank or powered using an external source (Unlike the Insta360 GO cameras).
Please note that not all Gyroflow camera profiles are currently available and Runcam are also working on an update to the configuration app that will add more control to camera settings (including ISO adjustment).

Hopefully the thumb W pro v2 will get cheaper, the thumb 1 was on sale around 45 bucks. Bought the pro v2 around 65 on sale. But when the 1 was discontinued the price of the pro v2 went to 85 on sale. We really need a sub 50 camera back.

Great video, I'm particularly interested in the built-in stabilization. Is it roughly on the same level as the DJI O3 or is it below that?I always find it very tiring to edit the runcam footage using gyro flow, as the result has not always been satisfactory in the past and too much of the image is taken away.Best regards and thank you for the informative video. Thanks! The built in stabilization is not amazing for drones, at least in my experience. The O3 stabilization works much better in my experience so for now you should only rely on Gyroflow. Maybe it will be improved in the future :-)

So I have the pro (w) but I don't know why it always seems blurry at the edges and it always seems like the sharpness was too high. I've always copied others settings. Not sure ill buy the v2 If the v1 wasn't that good
