"Maybe they have upgraded" their acylic paint, but if not, I found the paints way too watery and had to do several coats to make the colors show up. That was a disappointment. I went to Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint and got great results. Sorry Wild! Hugs 🌺

They are watery BUT I think that is by design to make them kid safe. They don't list the properties of the paint BUT I wouldn't be surprised if it was based off Tempera paint. Which means it would be based off an egg proteins as the binder... AKA making it not toxic and safe for kids. If you wanted an adult version I would stick with golden heavy body & open acrylics, Open thinner, and golden retarder ATM ❤

Liquid white for acrylic??? What sorcery is that??? When I decided to begin the bob ross technics, I began with acrylic, because, you know... Easier for a beginner with no stuff, easier to wash, less toxic products to use, etc... But I realised quickly that acrylic technics and wet on wet oil was just hardly compatible. Acrylic is to thin for a firm paint technic, and it dries to quickly for a nice and smooth blending effect. And every Bob Ross tutorial begin by "I put the liquid white on the canevas"... And ther was nothing like that medium for acrylic!! So I ask again : What on earth is that liquid white for acrylic made of???🤨

Don't expect much from this Kid version of LW. It will not carry the same properties that you are thinking. They don't list the properties of the paint BUT I wouldn't be surprised if it was based off Tempera paint. Which means it would be based off an egg proteins as the binder and water... AKA making it not toxic and safe for kids. This will allow the paint to stay wet BUT it wont give you the slick effect like true wet on wet.
