This is great! I also have hooded eyes and I am forever in search of the perfect lashes. I dont want to cover up my eyeshadow designs, but I want to have lashes too. I prefer thin bands as well. I've wasted a lot of money trying out lashes so this helps me to spend wisely! Thank u!

I have hooded eyes, and I have never worn false lashes because I wear glasses too. But yours are just so beautiful! captivating. Would you recommend the lash glue liner pen for a newbie at lashes?

Yes i would! I think it will be easier for many reasons for someone who is new to falsies, you also have a little time to reposition the lash which helps

So I tried the kiss liner glue today and omg u are so right!! It is the best! So easy. I didnt even have to wait 30 seconds for it get tacky before I set the lashes. So easy

For monolids I have to have a thicker lash band or else my eyelids will just shove the lashes down so that they droop like a curtain. The ardell 817 and others similar to it are the best I've found with the thinner lash band so far but my go to will always be Doe Lashes and Petite Cosmetics. I stock up during the sales

These are some great shouts for false lashes, thank you! I sometimes wear lashes for drag but I have problem of more prominent brow bone mixed with fuller eyelid - it drives me mad when I feel them touching it!

Yes i cut down my lashes! I don’t really clean them, i just remove any residue glue with my fingers, but since i use the kiss lash liner glue it doesnt leave a residue on the lashes

As a MUA, I wouldn't call your eyes hooded and I doubt any MUA would. You have a fold but is very minor and your eyelid is more deep set than your browbone. By just raising your brow a bit you can see your crease. So if anything, you have the easiest shape of a hooded eyelid. With this said, the tips for eyelashes are very good and applicable to other shapes too.

There are different levels of hooded lids, I’ve beeb subconsciously raising my eyebrows over the years of creating looks for photos and videos, I tried to relax in this video. In real life you can just see a very small amount of the skin above my lashes, but the under eyebrow area droops down quite a bit, definitely enough to always distort a wing eyeliner.
